Americans are learning more about Kamala Harris, as Democrats rush to anoint the Vice President’s candidacy after throwing President Biden overboard. Ms. Harris wasted no time saying she’s going to run hard against a policy paper that Donald Trump has disavowed—the supposedly nefarious agenda known as Project 2025. But who’s afraid of a think-tank white paper?
“I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party—and unite our nation—to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda,” Ms. Harris tweeted shortly after President Biden dropped out. She’s picking up this ball from Mr. Biden, and her campaign website claims that Project 2025 would “strip away our freedoms” and “abolish checks and balances.”......
As for the politics, Mr. Trump recently said online that he knew “nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it.” That may be true. The chance that Mr. Trump has read any of it is remote to nil, and he doesn’t want to be tied to anyone’s ideas since he prizes maximum ideological flexibility......
But the left’s campaign against Project 2025 is reaching absurd decibels. You’d think Mr. Trump is a political mastermind hiding the secret plans he’ll implement with an army of shock troops marching in lockstep. If his first term is any guide, and it is the best we have, Mr. Trump will govern as a make-it-up-as-he-goes tactician rather than a strategist with a coherent policy guide. He’ll dodge and weave based on the news cycle and often based on whoever talks to him last.

What we are witnessing is an evolutionary defect within the human species where the tranquility experienced from believing a lie relieves any internal conflict presented by acknowleging the truth or responsibility for knowing it.
...and it’s widespread, even amongst people I know and trust.

The first sentence about Project 2025 by anyone should be that it is by Heritage Foundation, NOT President Trump, he has disavowed it, had nothing to do with it, and his 20-point platform is available at the RNC.
Democrats trying to create a boogyman out of thin air and distract voters from actual issues like the border, inflation, crime, etc.
I like the WSJ’s editorial about the democrapt demagoguing of Project 2025. I’ll probably send it to a couple of acquaintance’s who find it as being more Trump’s plan than Mein Kampf was Hitler’s.

My daughter and granddaughter did the same thing with me. I had no idea what Project 2025 is, and could care less. But there’s an immense propaganda effort going on under the radar, on TikTok and social media and wherever else, to demonize Trump with it. I get the impression it’s mainly directed at mostly young women, and it’s all about abortion, which is mostly what the Dems are running on.
Well, MAGA is kind of burning out for the DEMS, their moron followers had no idea what it meant, just something about Donald Trump. Now that they know it’s an oopsie, the country has failed under Biden so badly they can’t complain about Making America Great Again. So replace MAGA with Project 2025, whatever that is.
The entire aim of practical politics (and the mainstream media) is to keep the populace alarmed and, hence, clamorous to be led, by an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

President Trump has disavowed any knowledge of Project 2025, claiming the left is pushing it. There have been some Freepers pushing it here, thinking Trump is behind it, but ike Q-Anon and the rest of the crap that pops up here, I ignore it, basically because Trump has distanced himself from it, but there are plenty of gullible people even here that get sucked in.
That is most certainly NOT TRUE.
His statement is contradictory, he HAS read it or else he could not disagree with it And he has dozens of aids and campaign staff working behind the scene sto promote it.
I heard about this, so I did some light reading and a little overview at their website.
They say they are conservative, but this is really a constitution based organization with a strict constitutional plan.
Elimination of most federal offices.
Removal of a lot of so called regulations.
Basic constitutional based stuff.
