1. She is tied at the hip with the total failure of the Biden Administration. She the flip side of the same corrupt incompetent coin
2. She is easily the most unlikeable candidate. Her speech patterns, mannerisms, behaviors are very grating on non partisan audiences
2. As someone who has watched Biden for the last 40 years, he has always had this weird connectivity with blue collar Dem voters. Harris has none of that connectivity.

Yes, the RINO’s barely contained their giddiness today on FNC. Hume saw no momentum from the GOP convention. He saw a ceiling on Trump support. He saw no drawbacks to dropping Biden and adding Harris.
I enjoyed the Dem, Doug Schoen, coming on an shutting Brit the Bushbot down.
This whole argument conflates “beatable” with “cheatable”.
Trump’s votes are record-breaking and the alternative votes are fake. His style of campaigning hasn’t been seen in decades.
It is stupid to sit down for a game of poker with people you know are going to cheat.

Polls have been stable since the beginning of the year.
Despite the debate. Despite assassination.
Those did not affect the numbers, because largely no one is voting for anyone. The Dem numbers are anti Trump, and there are already a couple of Biden lead polls out there.
It didn’t matter what happened with Biden, his numbers were anti Trump.
The Independents reject elites from both parties and are focused on the Swamp, and inflation, and yes, the border.
They are not going to be moved by a new candidate who perhaps talks about abortion. Abortion can’t move votes. All those votes are already in place on either side.
And so, she can’t affect inflation. She can’t affect the border. And she’s not a populist.
Independents generally are all those things.
She’s not black. She’s not going to bring the black men back to the plantation. And the border is the border, and has carved out a serious chunk of Hispanics.
The greatest threat she faces is Kennedy. He will want to re-register Democrat and compete at the convention. His people are already angry at the DNC and if they are disrespectful, he could carve off another 1-2%.
Regardless of all of this, it takes 3-4% national Dem lead to move the Battlegrounds, because sooooo many are in Calif and NY. A tie score going into early voting is a Trump win.
I can’t see how she is going to go from -1-2% to +4%. But then we have not seen what they have for October surprise.

1. Youth vs a nearly octogenarian opponent. She can erase all the terrible optics of a struggling Biden.
2. First female president. Will peel off some independents just based on this.
3. Chance to generate real excitement with a new face as VP to further energize the base.
The race is close. It will take only a small change to completely alter the dynamic and put Trump on the defensive for the first time in months. The first poll showing Kamala leading will set off panic here.

Yeah. World events may take a turn that favors DJT. Ya never know. As always, when months out from the election, some of the things upon which the election may turn have not yet happened. These are dangerous times...I can’t imagine a person as unserious as Harris being the leader of the free world.

Kammy polls almost exactly the same negatives as Biden does on “likeability” on 538, She might get a bump for being “new” but it a long way to Nov. She earned that dislike and it not magically going to vanish.
