Fox News analyst Brit Hume questioned former President Trump’s pick of Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) to be his vice presidential candidate, pointing to Vance’s past harsh criticisms of Trump.
Hume posited that voters may come to question how Vance became the candidate over other top picks.
“You think, well, is this person, how did he get the job? Did he get it because he was really the best qualified to be president?” Hume said. “Or did he get it because he sucked up effectively to the nominee? People will have questions about that.”
Vance was a fierce critic of Trump before becoming a close ally, once calling himself a “never-Trumper,” and dubbed Trump “a total fraud,” “a moral disaster” and “America’s Hitler” during the 2016 campaign.

Saw him once in person at a local chain box store. It’s kind of funny because he was walking just behind me and I heard the voice first (he was talking on his cell) and it sounded like someone from TV I thought wow that sounds just like Herman Munster - Fred Gwinn and I turned and looked at him and my first thought was “Fred Gwinn!” until I remembered he had died long ago. Then I recognised it was Brit Hume.
Well Hume, you are the first person to say that awful thing.

I had to stop watching Fox News today when it had a panel full of Trump haters. Who does Fox think is watching their channel? I was hoping for some speeches from the convention.
