Former President Donald Trump is beating President Joe Biden in the race for New Jersey, according to a poll released on Wednesday.
A poll conducted by Republican super PAC United 2024 found that Trump leads Biden; however, the difference is within the poll’s margin of error.
Trump leads Biden 43 to 41 percent in a two-way race, while Trump and Biden are tied at 38 percent when considering other options, such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who received eight percent, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein, who received three percent support.

If Biden wins NJ or NY by only a few points in 2016, we'd be talking about such a massive shift across the electorate that Trump would likely not only win all of the swing states, but he'd pick up the popular vote as well.
I know the popular vote doesn't mean squat but winning it would be a massive coup against the left and would likely put an end to those silly "popular vote compacts" that they're trying to pass into law.
The problem is Trump probably loses to any candidate other than Biden, they know this so he will be replaced.

There is no way on God’s Green Earth that a Popular Vote Compact would ever deliver the election to a Republican.
That ratchet only turns to the Left.
Of course not but the Democrats are so certain that a Republican could never again win the national popular vote that they're trying to use these compacts as tools to deny the electoral vote.
A Republican actually winning the national popular vote would make these efforts moot.
