I missed a few days last week due to my cold. Right now, the infection seems to be in my left eustacian tube. I still have a slight cough. What is awful is that when I try to go to sleep, I can hear and feel my pulse in that ear. I haven’t slept well at all.
I agree, and I’m really surprised Trump is softening. If anything I think that fist in the air meant he was fight ready.

I think her being in teaching was her downfall. Four Decades of brainwashing is hard to withstand, especially if someone chose that profession on purpose and has no other options.
I was part of a science to teaching program in Texas. There were about five of us, I couldn’t do the typing required any longer in software engineering, one guy had his own business and sold it and was quite wealthy. Three others retired early from the Federal government. Had a pension but wanted to do something. We all quit within a year! And this was in texas! Unfortunately the schools and the education department in the University was just as liberal as anywhere else.

That can often be the case. Let’s pray it is. But once again we have someone we don’t know if we can trust. Especially to take the reins later.
Vice presidents don’t always get the nomination. They think needs to be front and center, get his name out there. He needs to be part of this administration, in a very visible manner. That’s his strength and hopefully he is used that way.
Vance/Vivek does have a ring to it!
Now that I think about it, his age could be a detriment right now. And being fairly unknown, except to us of course.
I was thinking about Vance, and then I recalled the hate for Trump that originally lived in Greg Gutfeld, Leo Terrell, Mark Levin.....numerous people fell for the initial waves of operation “Make America Hate Trump” that was released by the dems and their media cohorts.
Don Jr. is fairly close to Vance. I guess we’ll have to trust Trump’s pick for now at least.....4 years to watch him, in any case.
Both Vance and Vivek are of concern as both of them have young children. Actually, one of Vance’s sons is named Vivek.
OTOH, it’s much easier to protect young children than it is older ones, and when does any parent stop caring about the safety of their children? I still make sure everyone is home and safe when we get a snowstorm lol.....and they’re 38 and 36!
My husband and five of his six siblings became teachers. They didn’t all stay but my husband and one of his sisters did. They said it all changed when the Department of education came in.
The only President in recent history that was like Trump was Reagan. Both were/are extremely popular. As Reagan ended his term with VP Bush as a shoe-in for President, so after Trump’s extremely successful 4-year term, his VP will be a shoe-in for President in 2028.
People here on FR argue more about political advantage than the future of MAGA and America. Short sighted. Trump will win 2024 if Donald Duck was his VP.
Why is the Left, the bad guys, more far-sighted with clear objectives than the Right or Patriotic Right? The Right, as seen here on FR, are bold and clear about what they’re AGAINST but don’t seem to have clarity about what they are FOR regarding the long view objective to Make America Great Again or even what it would take to Make America Great Again (hint: restoring our constitutional freedom from unconstitutional government coercion).
That is why so far the Left has won.
I think the Left will lose and we will win eventually, but I think this was a mistake by Trump that could have far-reaching consequences.
