Oregon part deux.
There is nothing that is forcing the property owners in these rural areas to sell.
It’s snobbery. If they vote like those awful deplorables, they might be mistaken for one, and then what would their peer group think?
Not so in Florida.
Five years ago the rodents held a 250k lead in voter registrations. Now Republicans hold a 400k lead
Almost all new residents came to be Republicans

*** ‘I am not anti-growth. I just want the growth to pay for itself. The infrastructure has barely changed.’
Commissioner and influential member of the Constitutional Republicans group Jeremy Mansfield told DailyMail.com that Sumner County was ‘caught in a vicious cycle that enables developers to exert significant influence on the political and economic landscape, perpetuating a cycle of overdevelopment, increased taxation, and land exploitation for their own gain’.***
We have the same problem here in central Indiana. If I wanted to live in Indianapolis or one of its suburbs, I would’ve moved there. Now with the influx of illegals to contend with, our little town is growing too fast, and the infrastructure isn’t there to keep up with the growth.
I contend that this is what happened to the California of my childhood. California was a marvelous place to live as I was growing-up. That is, until the sixties and the “Summer of Love,” when crazies from all over the United States came to California looking for “free-love” and drugs (and never left)! The disease has spread over the years.
American refugees fleeing their failed states to the south and other red areas. Migration always destroys.
None of the complaints have anything to do with California politics. They are all about growth. The problem here seems to be the local government is allowing unrestricted growth, and developers are jumping in to capitalize. But building high density housing WILL bring softer, less independent people who WILL be more left leaning than the more independent and conservative folks who reside in low density or rural housing.
“Californians, New Yorkers, and New Englanders are locusts. They ruin their home states then move on to virgin territory. I do not understand how these internal migrants bring their political ideology that caused them to flee their home states.”

Jobs and people in the US are still very mobile. Moving to follow your work is a common theme through the history of our nation.
The states and people receiving the inflow of these people just love getting higher prices for their own real estate, and they love the money those people bring into the economy. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the newcomers won’t share all the history and beliefs of long time residents.

The hatred for the former Confederates is evidence of the attitudes that are being brought into the Southern states. One has only have to look at how monuments and street names are being destroyed or changed to see the results of their presence.
Because in their minds relative to their former liberal homes, they consider themselves conservative. However, that brand of conservatism is completely out of phase with the conservatism of their new abodes. As conservative as they think they are, they’re clueless as to the subliminal liberalism they were exposed to.
I live in ground zero for this migration in Williamson county tn
Nearly all are right leaning at a minimum
The libs who move to Nashville mostly youngsters go to bohemian East Nashville usually
Another county already dem majority
That's how I felt in Arizona when the riots, fires, earthquakes, and mudslides drove a locus plague of Californians here. One day at the supermarket I looked around at the other shoppers and thought, in horror: Oh no, they've found me.
The Answer: They're COMPLETE DUMBA$$ES!
I think I do. I know several who moved into our little northern Idaho community and finally departed (thank God!) for Denver, which they may regret by now. The persistent attitude is "Oh, but there's so much our government can do for us!" with the disclaimer that in Kali they just weren't doing it right. It's a variation of the hoary "this time socialism can work" trope. And when it doesn't work it's somebody else's fault and they just move on.
because they never connect the dots between what their liberal beliefs and the results.
They think they can be liberal socially and conservative fiscally elsewhere, but they never realize the two are inseparable
Yep.
We hate them here in NC. Well, the loud obnoxious ones like the gay yankee uber driver I had last week. He was a POS who badmouthed Southerners.
They defecate in their own drinking water and make their towns/states too expensive and unlivable and then come to our beautiful state and ruin it with their leftist policies.
