Nigel Farage has said the West "provoked" Russia's invasion of Ukraine by expanding the European Union and Nato military alliance eastwards.

But he added that the expansion of the EU and Nato gave him a "reason" to tell the Russian people "they're coming for us again".

In an interview with the BBC's Nick Robinson, Mr Farage was challenged over his judgement and past statements, including when he named Russian President Vladimir Putin as the world leader he most admired in 2014.

"I said I disliked him as a person, but admired him as a political operator because he's managed to take control of running Russia," Mr Farage said

Listen to Trump’s comments a few days ago. Trump said the quiet part out loud. NATO has encroached for 10-20-30 years, and should Macron miscalculate and put his troops in Ukraine France will be on their own, and that the US will not put boots on the ground in Ukraine, nor with any EU boots in Ukraine trigger Article 5 if they end up in a war with Russia.

Wow, that was a pure Ukrainian AZOZ Wet Dream.

Putin has decided after the weekend that it is time to absorb the final Ukrainian Great Offensive 3.0 and then finish this war. Zelenski will not be president, nor as long as he is president will there be any negotiations. The NATO MIC and corrupt politicians like Biden formented a coup, and then subhuman’s like Zelenski sold off all of Ukraine’s viable resources and assets in order to enrich the West and in return he built a 1.2m army which is being dismantled as we speak.

Foolish comments. They are wrong on the facts and do nothing to help get Farage elected.

He's right, but not for the reasons given.

We provoked Putin by our abject weakness.

Did you see the results of the second FAB3K? This will suck the air out of the negotiating team from the West. If the FAB500 ended the stalemate starting in January 2024, imagine what these monsters can do?

There are also rumors of a FAB9000. God is clearly helping Russia against the Globohomo West.

At least Putin called Biden’s F16 threats. In a perverse sense, Putin the champion of White Christians everywhere. The globohomo agendist’s are meeting their foil in Putin. Sanctions and the might of the West have failed even with a 10-year buildup before the conflict started. The Woke Mind cannot compete against the Classical Western Trained Mind or Civilization.

begin shelling the Russian speaking Dunbas

Russian speaking Dunbas?

As in, Russians, therefore part of Russia?

Funny, because, there are parts of Brooklyn where Russian is the main language, so, should Russia be allowed to invade Brooklyn?

Spanish is the main language in most of Miami, so, should Cuba be allowed to take over Miami?

Russia used to 'own' a bunch of Eastern European countries, as part of the Soviet Union. So, should Putin invaded them too to take them back?

Absolute Bull****. There’s no justification for Putin’s invasion whatsoever.

Especially with NATO expanding eastward to his doorstep

NATO is not a country, nor is it an aggressor country.

Meanwhile, Russia is an aggressor country, and NATO expansion came as countries near Russia felt threatened by Russia. Even in the last couple years, there have been countries joining NaTO because of the Russian threat. Should those countries have gone it alone and just hope for the best?

If not for the threats by Russia to expand to where they were as the Soviet Union, NATO would still be an alliance of perhaps 5 or so countries. The expansion of NATO was caused by Russia, and their excuse for invading Ukraine was the same as existed since the Soviet Union was formed.

The excuse of NATO expansion for Russia's invasion is bogus and dumb. Putin was going to do it anyway, even if they had to come up with somethng entirely different as an excuse, like Zelensky giving Putin the middle finger.

“West provoked Ukraine war, Nigel Farage says”

Trump said EXACTLY THE SAME when answering a question posed by Jeffrey Sachs*, and Trump is CLEARLY up to speed regarding what the Neocons did there. It will be interesting to see how the Zeepers continue to troll us by claiming that they support Trump.

*Zeepers (and others): if you don’t know who he is, you need to find out.

We do know though that Russian state finances are a shambles
———
With only a 17 percent debt ratio- I would say definitely not- the US debt to GDP ration is 130 percent. Russia has one of the lowest debt ratios in the world- which makes them one of the most financially secure nations in the world.

The US ( and West) are broke, and can never pay off their debt- Russia can.

I guess NATO expansion didn't happen.

It happened after Putin invaded Ukraine.

So, the CIS was the legal successor to the Soviet Union? Then Ukraine ought to get the nukes and much, much more in compensation because of two things alone: (1) the mass famine and millions of deaths that the Soviets intentionally imposed on Ukraine; and (2) Moscow's catastrophic derelictions in construction and management of the Chernobyl nuclear plant.

Of course, since Ukraine was a member state of the UN from the time of its creation and had its own ambassador casting votes just like the USSR, Ukraine had a presumptive and exclusive right to the nukes on its territory as a successor to the USSR of equal legal dignity with Russia and its subordinate provinces that compose the CIS.

“Which is why everyone in the west was urging Zelensky to flee as soon as Russia attacked, thinking that this would be over in a few days. Sorry, but the claim that the NWO bogeymen wanted this war does not hold up to rational thinking.”

Still holds up, the Neocons likely NEVER thought Russia would invade. But Russia did invade, which is why the Neocons have made a TOTAL MESS of everything, and it will haunt the US for generations. FAR WORSE than anything Carter or Clinton did, by far.

Thanks for showing us you are good at repeating Russian talking points.

In 2014 Ukrainians, including their elected parliament, convinced the Russian puppet leading their country to resign. Oh, and Putin invaded and seized Crimea.

And then Russia armed and sent troops in to fight with separatist militias they started in the Donbass. Most of the "shelling" was done by Russia and their allies, just like Russia shells cities all over eastern Ukraine - cities where the Russian speaking Ukrainians Putin claims he invaded Ukraine to defend used to live.

If Putin was really trying to help Russian speaking Ukrainians why has he destroyed the cities where they used to live and killed thousands of them?

After Putin invaded Ukraine he ended up with NATO just across the border and surrounding the Baltic Sea and St. Petersburg.

Putin caused NATO's expansion.

Your list of "facts" is just a list of Russian talking points in English.
