Jun 16, 2024 United States President Joe Biden suffered another embarrassing gaffe at a Democrat campaign fundraiser in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Mr Biden appeared to freeze and was led off stage by former United States President Barack Obama.
British broadcaster Piers Morgan said on X that the incident was “so embarrassing” and questioned the Democrats decision to have him as presidential nominee.
“So embarrassing” he said.
“The Democrats can’t let this go on, surely?”

According to the moron who wrote this headline, it was Obama who froze on stage.🙄

Maybe Obama did that to boost Michelle’s (his) chances at bumping Joe out of the running in time for the convention. He didn’t need to keep an arm around Joe the whole time, but he did; and it made Joe look totally doddering.
I seem to remember Bill Clinton gaslighting Hillary when she was running. Jealosy.

Good observation. A not so subtle reminder about who is really calling the shots.

I think this is all staged to lower expectations for Joe’s performance at the June debate.
I’ve seen this theory before. Act so stupid and out of it, that when you aren’t quite that stupid, people will think you smart. The problem with that idea to me is having your candidate look catatonic in public isn’t likely to win over the undecided or even reassure your followers. It’s planting a seed (or perhaps transplanting a full-grown plant) in their minds that all is not well with Joe.
“He’s not as bad as I thought” is hardly a message to win over voters.

I despised Biden long before he became the incompetent president that he is now.
But Obama was way out of line and insulting in this episode.

“He’s not as bad as I thought” is hardly a message to win over voters. I like that slogan! Might even have been floated at the strategy sessions in the White House. "Hey! What about this? 'Re-elect Joe! He's not as bad as you think!'"
