CHANGE FOR BETTER SERVICE
Have you ever noticed that the typewriter keyboard places the most frequently used keys far apart from each other? The purpose of this arrangement was to slow down the typing speed. Keys on the machines of the 1800s used to jam if the typist went too fast.
About 40 years ago, the Dvorak Simplified Keyboard was developed. On this keyboard, the most frequently used keys were in the home row, and the right hand did 56 percent more work than the left. Typists using this keyboard could increase their speed up to five times without increasing in error. Still, we continue with a keyboard designed to be inefficient. Why? We don't like changes. Mark Twain once said, "Only a wet baby welcomes a change." However, today's military requires innovative, out-of-the-box thinking. Whether we like it or not, we change every day. Prayer: Almighty God. Help us to be more creative, thoughtful, and pro-active in serving our country. Amen.

Howdy, Kathy.
Still dry here and a bit warm but a stiff breeze made it comfy for mowing the front yard. Rain tomorrow will give me a break.
I saw y’all finally broke 60 degrees today, and that was without sunshine. It doesn’t look like sunshine is in store for tomorrow, either, but I hope the temp stays up.
How many ducks showed up today? Did the momma bring her babies by?

No me time this weekend, altho it was tough to not stay out on the deck for a while after I posted the thread. LOL!
If it is anywhere near the same tomorrow, I may have to make a little time to just sit out.
I made it to 9a and gave up.

Hubby always waited until the last minute to pack too. Must be a man thing. LOL
I figured you’d packed some of your things already. I know you’re antsy to see the kids. :-)
It was cloudy when I woke up and that helped keep the temp a tolerable mid-80s when the sun broke out later. Pretty breezy, too, and that helped keep me comfy while mowing.
Rain and clouds will keep us in the 70s tomorrow, they say.
This time next week, we’ll be in the low 90s with the heat index close to 100. Summer’s moving in. *sigh*

If it’s nice again tomorrow, MAKE a little time to sit on the deck to relax and rejuvenate. :-)
9:00 is later than you’ve been sleeping. Every little extra counts. Maybe you’ll get a little more tomorrow.

It must be. Thank goodness he did do his laundry already or I’d be on his butt to get stuff done. LOL!
Oh, so glad that it was good mowing weather. Yep....summer is coming too soon and we’ll both be longing for fall or spring. LOL! It has already arrived here with a bang.

That’s a step in the right direction. LOL
I’m glad today was good weather. It’ll rain tomorrow and I hope the grass is dry enough Monday afternoon to mow because I still have the back yard to do. We’ll have low 80s then and Tuesday, and if my back’s up to it I can get the front yard at the old house Tuesday. After that, we heat up.

Glad you’ll be finished before the heat really sets in. Unless it heats up faster. hope it doesn’t.
Guess I’d better finish this show and head out. I’m totally not sleepy, but I’d better get that way fast or my alarm doesn’t stand a chance. LOL!
See ya tomorrow!
