Governor Wes Moore (D-MD) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that it was “deeply offensive” to claim former President Donald Trump’s guilty verdict in the New York business document trial will help him with black voters.
Host George Stephanopoulos said, “There’s a debate going on in circles about how to take on the former president, how central to make the fact that he is now a convicted felon. Where do you stand on that?”

It either does or doesn’t, being offended by it won’t factor in it the premise.
That logic is just out of grasp for him.

According to Wikipedia, he's had past problems with unpaid taxes. He owed $21,000 to the City of Baltimore, the story of which made the newspapers. After the article appeared, he paid the back taxes, claiming he had no knowledge he owed that much.
Even CNN did an article on him for embellishing his childhood and where he grew up. He was later criticized for failing to correct television interviewers who incorrectly said he was awarded a Bronze Star.
He's had some other issues that can be found on his Wikipedia page.
First the straw man: Trump’s “conviction” will be what helps black voters identify with him.
Second, the knockdown. It’s offensive that everyone assumes all blacks are convicted.
Now the reality. It isn’t the conviction. It is the false charges and the railroading leading to the conviction. It’s the unequal justice leading to the conviction. It’s a myriad of things leading to the so called “conviction” that black voters may just identify with.
Of course, this straw man stuff is just an attempt by the usual suspects to try to magically make the injustice disappear by treating what happened to Trump as part of the legit legal system. Fox is amongst the culprits.
The other usual suspects have turned up their favorite tool. The “debunk” tool they used so well to try an normalize the craziness of Covid. Five CNN panelists get together, agree on something and declare any counter opinions as having been “debunked” and their opinion to be the “science.” Now instead of “science” we will be treated to it being “the law.”
He is correct. Black Americans are well known for their exemplary law abiding behavior, celebrated the world over as model citizens. Only Scandinavian mermaids have a lower crime rate than black Americans.

The kangaroo court and its’ jesters’ actions should help Trump with anyone who was a rationally functioning brain of any race or other background.

But Joe Biden reclassifying Marijuana months during the Election season isn’t insulting and pandering?
Notice how no one is offended that Joe and his family created 20 LLCS and got $30 Million for nothing? Oh, it was for something.

Being offended is a full-time profession and a life-long habit. Might as well tell bears to stop crapping in the woods. Somewhere, there’ll be a bear who insists on it.
