The German government said Friday that Ukraine can use German-supplied weapons against Russian attacks from positions just over their joint border, in a significant policy change that came a day after U.S. President Joe Biden gave Kyiv a green light to strike back with American weapons at Russian military assets targeting the country’s second-largest city.
A German government statement noted that, in recent weeks, Russia has prepared, coordinated and carried out attacks on Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region, in particular from areas just over the border in Russia.
"Together we are convinced that Ukraine has the right under international law to defend itself against these attacks," the statement said. "For this, it can also use the weapons delivered for that purpose in accordance with its international legal commitments, including the ones delivered by us,"

The AWACS are for the F16 package. Essentially these two AWACS will be used to provide radar coverage on a defensive level, but once it identifies within its surveillance system coverage area hostile ground targets it can also relay them. Most of what an AWACS does is put a COMMUNICATIONS HUB in the Sky with a COMMAND CENTER which obtains data from infantrymen cam’s, vehicles on ground, other nations and satellites, other aircraft - essentially everything that can see and communication is funneled like a fire hose into the AWACS/ground systems that communicate with the AWACS.

NATO has invoked its unity. Now for the first we are hearing about the Russian’s invoking their defense agreements with the allies. Some sources are saying that more than 1m soldiers will soon start flowing into Ukraine from Russia’s defense pact.
NATOs escalation to use NATO officers to strike Russian soil has now moved to a new phase.
Who could have ever in a million years have predicted, outsides of Jake Sullivan or Tony Blinken-idiot nad the Pentagon that Russia would invoke their articles of defense with their allies to come to their aid with Russia under attack from NATO???????????????????????????
It might only take a few weeks for the flood of men and weapons to arrive. Most likely these forces will be integrated into the existing Russia military framework rather than sending them alone - if Zelenski ever wanted to talk about human wave attacks, now would be the time. Personally, I cannot imagine where this conflict is leading. We now have two defensive pact’s squaring off against one another.
The Russian’s held this card and never mentioned it. 40 nations against Russia.... Well now Russia will draw from a half dozen allies.
No menetion of Iran, Syria, N.Korean or other allies like Venezuela.
Who knows, maybe NATO will have to defend itself from invasion of sorts. The EU and US are already flooded with hostile immigrants - a few hunderd causing problems is a problem.
Life is cheap in the thrid world and the West cherishes our lives at least individually. The prospect of nearly an addition 700,000 Russians backed by over 1m allied soldiers to Russia, regardless of caliber is going to look like a repeat of the US Military heading south from the Yalu River dividing North Korea and China in the Korean War.
