Somebody should be in jail. And it’s not Trump.

The question is was this Standard Operating Procedure or was this done because it was Trump? One shows bias for Trump and contempt for the law, the other shows complete contempt for the law. Both are an major problem! If I was a defense attorney in NYC, maybe, just maybe I would file for a court to reopen a case to make sure their client was treated legally. This could mean thousands of reopened cases to be reviewed! Who would do that?

These prosecutions were not designed to actually convict Trump - even Jack Smith and the DOJ’s ridiculous documents case.

They were designed as a psyop and media-propaganda campaign focusing on influencing the 2024 election

After this testimony, wonder what the jurors are thinking. If they’re at least semi-honest people, they have no choice but to acquit Trump. No way the prosecution is demonstrating he is guilty of any crime beyond a reasonable doubt.

Grounds for a mistrial. The banana republic immigrant should toss it, but of course his hatred for Trump won’t allow it. He’ll probably face charges before the judicial ethics committee, but that will take a very long time.

All these lawfare cases are sloppy because they are desperate and don’t have real violations to present so they’re just winging it. Plus they are totally corrupt themselves and not held accountable by the liberal media, so they don’t even try to do an honest efficient job.

Thus they end up with horrible cases that can’t withstand the smallest degree of scrutiny.

America’s existential threat is the absence of consequences for Democrats!

American Thinker ^ | 13 May, 2024 | Lewis Dovland

The pattern that politicians and media outlets escape any consequences for their actions must change if America is to survive.

America as we know it is facing its ultimate existential threat, all focused on whatever the left thinks it will take to ensure Donald Trump is not our next President.

Our dear, constitutional America has crossed the political Rubicon (perhaps the River Styx). In addition to foreign policy, border, and economic problems, it now faces a breakdown in our justice system.

Those who use governmental powers to cheat or commit politically based crimes have no concerns about punishment.

Heavily abetted by the Marxist progressives in control of our educational, media, and justice systems, nothing is out of bounds for them.

Because America’s left has removed religion from the public space and demonstrates immorality at every turn, we then must look at this issue differently because we now have citizens who have no compunction about lawlessness.

With leftists (progressive Marxists), who now include all Democrat politicians, no penalties for lawlessness apply, and that’s for two reasons.

One, they have no shame, and two, even where a penalty could be applied, it won’t.

As James Comey explained in 2016, Hillary Clinton was fully caught having committed several serious violations of our secrecy acts. Ignoring a court order to preserve evidence (as well as statutory requirements for government records), she deleted 30,000 emails and smashed multiple cell phones, yet no one was prosecuted. So, lawlessness worked.

Perhaps the patriots of NY should push for a prosecutor open file law. We've had one in Texas for a few years now stemming from cases where exculpatory evidence was withheld from the defense lawyers. One resulted in a man doing 25 years for the murder of his wife. There had been DNA evidence that was withheld and the DA was sentenced to some jail time. Now there is a severe penalty to any DA that doesn't make all evidence available.
