Amateur archaeologists have unearthed five human skeletons missing their hands and feet under the former home of the Nazi war criminal Hermann Göring at Hitler’s Wolf’s Lair military headquarters in present-day Poland.
The remains, believed to be that of a family, were discovered as part of a dig at the site near the north-eastern town of Kętrzyn, where Nazi leaders spent large stretches of the second world war.
Mystery surrounds the chilling find, first reported by Der Spiegel, including the identity of the victims, the circumstances of their burial, and whether the Reichsmarschall knew the bones were there while he lived in the house.

Oh, hey, I see you posted a picture of the Biden Administration.
Meat was scarce and the man needed to eat.
Interesting. I thought he was an Air Force guy. Nothing to do with the final solution. Educate us please.
Meat was scarce and the man needed to eat.
A big part of being a top Nazi was getting unbelievably rich. Hitler copyrighted his image, so every ‘Hitler’ stamp sold resulted in royalty payments to him. He was one of the richest men in the world when he blew his brains out 79 years ago today.
Just waiting for the day when Biden snaps and starts screaming “FEGELEIN, FEGELEIN, FEGELEIN!!”.

It was he who issued orders to Heydrich to prepare a comprehensive plan to finally deal with the Jewish Problem. These orders (tacitly approved by Hitler and his lessers) resulted in the Wannsee Conference where attendees discussed and mapped out “The Final Solution.”

From the judgement at Nuremberg:
“There is nothing to be said in mitigation. For Göring was often, indeed almost always, the moving force, second only to his leader. He was the leading war aggressor, both as political and as military leader; he was the director of the slave labour programme and the creator of the oppressive programme against the Jews and other races, at home and abroad. All of these crimes he has frankly admitted. On some specific cases there may be conflict of testimony, but in terms of the broad outline, his own admissions are more than sufficiently wide to be conclusive of his guilt. His guilt is unique in its enormity. The record discloses no excuses for this man.”
😀😆😀😜
Too bad the Nuremberg International Military Tribunal could only hang him once.
Are there pictures of that?
“ Meat was scarce and the man needed to eat.”
Uncle Bosey?
A Biden parody ala the Hitler ones is long over due.
But I digress....
Goring cheated the hangman.
Small bones can disintegrate. There was also no clear evidence of amputation li kb e cut marks on the bones.
They really need to date the bones. I’d like to know how old the house was and who previous occupants were.
Wouldn’t they get rid of the teeth, too?
My grandfather had an old band-aid can which he used for his fishing tackle. On it was stamps from all around the world
But a closer look would show a stamp from Germany with a particular looking man with a Charlie Chaplin like mustache.
I think it’s still in my mom’s junk drawer.
