wouldn’t have mattered. There would have always been one more vote from either the RINOs or the Dems. It's as safe of a bet as the sun coming up in the morning. Been saying it for decades now.

And then people wonder why I say the GOP doesn’t actually stand for anything and voting for people with R after their name won’t result in any changes.

If you don’t punish these guys, they will never change.
In Canada the “Progressive” Conservatives went down to two seats in 1993.
When they finally re-constituted themselves, Harper repealed the gun registry and the hate crimes law that was used to target Mark Steyn.
Harper wasn’t perfect, but if the “Progressive” Conservatives had been able to continue as is, none of that would have ever happened.
And Chretien on net was no worse than Mulroney. And on deficits, spending and tax increases, actually better.

Passing the amendment would mean that the communication between the putative US pro-Hamas people would be out of bounds to listen in onWhich side a US citizen supports (using legal means such as speech, publication, and petition) in a foreign war does not void that citizen's constitutional rights.
The United States is not a belligerent in this war and supporting the Palestinian side is not a crime.
Of course the government is not "allowed to listen in" on their communications without a warrant. Probable cause is necessary in all cases, and passing more unconstitutional laws doesn't make it right.

That was before I actually read the section. It only applies to over seas nationals - now no warrant will be needed to surveil them. No US citizen gets surveilled
Most others here obviously just panicked jumped off the cliff without reading it.

American freedoms slowly being snuffed out by the Swamp Rats.
Wide open invasion through the unsecured border.
Watch how many of these same Swamp Rats vote to fund their favorite proxy wars.

Darn right. At the time of that Santos debacle, I thought, this guy is on our team. We don't need choirboys, me need someone who can come in off the bench and kick the extra point. He was less dirty than most democrats. The uniparty wanted him gone because he was MAGA.
