Governor Wes Moore (D-MD) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face The Nation” that maritime operations in the Port of Baltimore could be fully functional by May while discussing the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.

Host Margaret Brennan said, “We are so sorry about the recovery and the fatal accident. How do you describe where we are in this recovery process and potentially rebuilding?”

So, Baltimore will suddenly become a productive city - something not seen in decades.

"Illegals don’t work they want everything for free and NOW"

Illegals want everything tax-free and NOW...
The migrant-invader vermin are going to vote, this coming November, to solidify this "right"...

The port, the bridge will be down much longer. The only thing to get the port functioning again, is to remove some of the metal debris. The roadway can remain submerged, and the metal debris not obstructing the waterways, can be removed in a less hurried fashion.

Baltimore City probably realized port customers will do business at another port and may not return to Baltimore.

I know of Sparrows Point, however, I am not intimately knowledgeable enough to respond intelligently. Perhaps you can tell me what it might have to offer. I know the steel plant was around that area, but are the waterways suitable enough for the traffic? One would think so. However, what I know is insufficient to give an assessment on its positives & negatives. I really know little about the Baltimore harbor, other than it seemed to function adequately. 🙂👍

My comment was really based upon the fact that to reopen the shipping harbor could be the only thing up & running by May, because nothing happened to the harbor. Therefore, all that is really needed is to remove the debris blocking the water way channels. 🙂

Sparrows Point is just outside of the wrecked bridge. It has 1) ports 2) container terminals 3) distribution centers etc. Wont cover everything in and out of port, but could alleviate some supply chain issues. This administrations Transportation Dept is clueless.

Biden’s railroad track for his train will be the first project to be installed.

Perhaps it is being used temporarily, if not I have no clue as to why it isn’t being used. Excellent question though.

Clearing a shipping lane out of that mess shouldn’t take that long.. would expect a month or so at most to do that. Rebuilding the bridge? Whole other story

By May...of what year? And note that no definition of functioning was offered.
