On Tuesday’s broadcast of CBS’s “Late Show,” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said that he worries that people don’t understand how bad a Trump presidency will be, and one example is that Trump “will work with the fossil fuel industry to increase oil production,” and that will say “that the fight against climate change has basically been lost.”
Sanders said, “[W]hat I am concerned about is I think that many people don’t understand what a Trump presidency will look like, and it will be a disaster, not only for our country, but I think for the world. And if you…look at the issues, and I don’t want to rattle them all off, but take something like climate change, every sane person on this earth understands that the world is getting warmer. Right now, in Texas, there’s a terrible forest fire, the worst they’ve ever had. We’ve seen fires all over the world, heat waves, storms, unprecedented. Truth is, Trump doesn’t even believe in the concept of climate change, will work with the fossil fuel industry to increase oil production, etc. And that will send a signal all over the world that the fight against climate change has basically been lost. And I wonder what kind of planet our kids and grandchildren will inherit.”

Drill baby drill!! IMO, that is a big reason President Trump did so well in Alaska 87.58%. They like their oil dividends. On the other hand, Murkowski endorsement of Haley may have been the kiss of death.
Absolutely nailed it. His supporters are too delusional to see the self-interest game he’s been playing for years.
He probably consumes far more fuel and petroleum based products than the average person does with his lifestyle and travels. He undoubtably has a big carbon footprint.

Remember the days when increasing production was seen as a good thing? I used to like those days.
The Leftists lost their credibility as environmental saviors with their singular and sustained focus on climate change. What about pollution, particularly in our major cities run by democrats? What battle are they raging on that? What army are they sending in to pick up the trash, the needles, the human waste?
The images I see of Leftist run cities like San Francisco, scream indifference to an environmental disaster. Talk to me about CO2 when you can actually solve a a picking up garbage.

The evil one has won the battle for the minds of the low info folks who only listen to,CNN and such- the lie of “man-caused climage change” is now a lie that is accepted as truth the world over.
I used tO run a blog for a few years that tackled the lie of “man-caused climate change”, back when it was becoming a thing with everyone jumping on board and really pushing it. It took me a few years but I finally realized that people would,rather beleive a lie than accept the truth, as evidenced by the reams of arguments that erupted in support of he agenda- the majority of which when broken down, said nothing more than “nuh uh, you are wrong, and there is a consensus of scientists that prove that”
I got tired or countering their nonsense day in and day out. I noticed that even “conservative news” were woefully unknowlegeable about the facts that prove man isn’t capable of causing any kind of change, and watched the senators in congress go from denouncing the climate agenda to accepting it. Senator inhoffe was a huge voice of “reason” combstt8ng the c,image agenda scammers, but he slowly sunk into the swamp too. The fella that worked with him, Marc morano however kept on trying to fight, and his site climatedepot.org has reams of scientific evidence that man isn’t capable of changing the c,image.
Anyway, it became clear that the lie was taking over- worldwide- and that common sense and objective science on the issue was a thing of the past.

If our gasoline is produced overseas, then those foreign countries get the global warming and we don’t. It’s very simple. Please pay attention.
