Greg Stenstrom and Leah Hoopes, alongside former President Donald Trump, emerged victorious in a high-profile defamation case in Pennsylvania. The lawsuit, known as โSAVAGE VS TRUMP ETAL,โ alleged malicious and defamatory statements against the Plaintiff, James Savage, following the 2020 Presidential election.
The case was one of the only remaining 2020 election cases on the books.

From the article:
This week, James Savage and his attorney, J. Conor Corcoran, have withdrawn their complaints just before the scheduled hearing, citing a motion for summary judgment in favor of Stenstrom and Hoopes based on the truth as a complete defense.
IOW, the suit was going to fail based on the defendants (Trump) being able to prove that their accusations were factual.
Hoft needs a copy editor. And maybe a research assistant.
What’s wrong with it?...........

this isn’t a victory unless the second part happens.
Detention, arrest and imprisonment of Savage and his cohorts for vote tampering.
Winning is not enough.

Thank you for that this is one that I wish they would go through with, the Trump team would be able to show their evidence of a steal.
Maybe it’s coming on the “Dictator” day in January. Ha Ha!
This capitulation is, in essence, exactly that: stone-cold evidence of the steal. Yanking the case in this particular way is de facto admission that the case the defense has put together is entirely factual, and so well-rooted in provable truth as to be undefeatable in a court of law.
The only really big piece that’s missing is mainsleaze media acknowledgement of same.
So when is MsNbCbs going to report this story?

“one of the only remaining”
Best is to get the actual number (thus the comment about a research assistant if he doesn’t want to do his own research) - ‘one of x remaining’ or even ‘one of only # remaining’ or perhaps leaving # remaining.
Next best - ‘one of the few remaining’.
‘the only’ isn’t proper grammar. Of course, there have always been reporters that were poor writers. There used to be copy editors that made them look good.
Just because poor grammar is becoming more common, it isn’t becoming correct. See

Massive win is a bit of hyperbole. It is a minor case in the tranche of cases the Trump legal team is dealing with. One had never even herd of.
If that’s the case can Trump make them go to court and show the TRUTH?
Make ‘em pay for their lies.
