Are we under attack? It is a Nationwide disruption, and no one is talking about what happened. NO email or texts, even 9/11. We are down in Oklahoma, and from the story, West Coast and East coast. Is this a test of our entire communication network?

More than 73,000 AT&T customers reported outagesAnd those are just the ones that reported it. Probably twice as many (or more) actual outages.

If you have hard line internet, for a workaround you can set your phone to “WI-FI CALLING”.

ATT is currently proposing to eliminate its landline service here in California. Sounds like a great idea. I mean, like, why not?

My wife and I are both on AT&T (same plan). My phone works, hers doesn't. We're sitting right next to each other in the same house.
She does have Tik Tok, for the cute pet videos. I don't.

Some in Florida are out. Not mine. Posting this with my AT&T iPhone.
On the other hand, maybe AT&T is updating its snooping programs.

Impossible with the old AT&T network that has been declared obsolete and torn down. A decision Iike many I fear that will someday be regretted.

Well, if it is a foreign cyberattack you can bet the nice folks in DC are busy coming up with a cover story. And AT&T had better play along.
“Nice company you’ve got there, AT&T. Be a shame if it was ruined by an IRS audit.”

My apartment requires a Smart Phone to do your laundry now.
What is the average monthly fee for Wi-Fi and Internet?
$25? $35?
Crazy. Even my local grocery stores are getting closer and closer to mandatory Smart Phones for food sale prices scanned in store.
$300 a year (plus phone purchase) to get $300 a year in reduced food prices?
Such a deal!
