The City of San Francisco is poised to issue a formal apology to black residents for decades of racial discrimination against them throughout its history, according to a resolution introduced Tuesday that the Board of Supervisors is likely to approve.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported:
Dozens of people packed the San Francisco Board of Supervisors chamber Thursday to hear for the first time a resolution apologizing for the forced removal of Black communities from historic neighborhoods, ongoing tensions with the Police Department and underinvestment in key public services.
A task force set up by the city released recommendations last summer suggesting reparations to the city’s Black community, including potential $5 million payments meant to rectify some of the harm caused by generations of systemic racism. The task force also recommended issuing the apology.

The seven-page draft resolution says San Francisco has a long history of creating laws, policies and institutions that have “perpetuated racial inequity in our city, much of which is difficult to document due to historical erasure.”

Not anytime soon. San Francisco is 5% black. Oakland is 22% black. All the talk about SF becoming Chicago is way off in that regard.
Most folks don’t realize that there are really two Oaklands.

Not at all surprised. I like to be "neat" about sourcing the details, because the Left so hates information they must then label "misinformation" and "disinformation." That the gate keepers are trembling and angry (and losing money and firing lib employees) illustrates that "sourcing details" can be effective. Best wishes.

The Chinese were treated much worse than the blacks there. The race of professional victims just wishes to shakedown the taxpayers and project white guilt on whites because they are too lazy to earn a living themselves.
The reparations money will soon follow the apology.

Yes, please do you racist white democrats. Please do apologize for the harm you have caused the minority residents of San Francisco. Remember when the gay county supervisor, Harvey Milk was murdered and it was even then blamed on white conservatives who hated gays even though the culprit was a disgruntled employee upset about his pay and/or firing. Supervisor Milk was then turned into a saint and the city continued its fall into depravity.
During its fall the white liberals became richer and the poor minorities became poorer. Their properties were practically stolen from then for development of high dollar McMansions for the rich and connected.
Please do apologize.
When will they getting around to apologizing to Americans for the national embarrassment and cesspool they have created.
