Tucker Carlson's interview is not about the truth or trusting Putin.

It's about giving Putin the ability to communicate his position to America and the rest of the West in an open forum and in an unfiltered manner.

It's also about a chance to give Putin a forum to go over the heads of the corrupt pols who started the war and who have a vested interest in prolonging the fighting in Ukraine until after the 2024 election and directly telling the entire world what can be done to initiate a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict

The EUroReich wants to place “sanctions” on Carlson for having the temerity to interview the Russian President.

Most are anti Russian and anti American. It's all about themselves and what they believe. No neutrality in the news business. These people are actors, paid to entertain, never to inform.

Pescov seems to be showing some deference to Carlson. The other thread on this was oddly interpreted as quite the opposite.

So then why doesn't Putin get rid of those 10,000 nuclear missiles aimed at the US?

With the US Deep State and Neocons running things? Hell I wouldn't give up the nukes if I were put in charge of Russia. The Neocons would nuke them in an instant.

Answer: Mutual Assured Destruction. That's why. That's been the status-quo between the United States and (Formerly USSR) Russia for decades.

Maybe he is waiting for us to do likewise. That could only happen with serious dialogue and of course your type isn’t interested in that.

You are kind of dense.

Charge Tucker with Treason? Still waiting for the media to be charged with treason for interviewing the Ayatollah while American hostages were held in Iran. Jane Fonda? No?

Yah, getting tired of the “whatever we do is legal, whenever you breath it is illegal”

Soviet Union, indeed.

There is an old saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Therefore, since the United States and Western Europe is run by people who want to subject the world to a tyranny that Orwell or Huxley could not envision, that a country that is the designated enemy of the New World Order crowd has to be good. That makes sense on the surface. Putin's public rhetoric, where he denounces the anti-Christian and anti-traditional actions and statements of Biden and his counterparts in other Western capitals, adds to.this impression.

However, if you step back and look at reality rather than rhetoric and remove the blinders of disgust at the pro-perversion and "green" policies of our leaders, the picture is not as benign. For all his Orthodox Christian statements, Lenin's body remains entombed in Red Square. The red star remains on top of the Kremlin, the seat of Russian government. The Russian military frequently flies the Soviet flag on its tanks and armored vehicles.

Then you must look.at Russian foreign allies, the most preeminent being Red China. The CCP is possibly the greatest challenger to the Western elite. Not without reason, the Chinese leadership sees their Western counterparts as weak and decadent. Russia and China cooperate militarily and strategically. Within China using financial incentives through the Belt and Road Initiative and Russia using mercenaries and espionage, they have been pushing American, British, and French influence out of large parts of Africa. Given the extent that overtly Marxist and pro-Chinese regimes (including cartel influenced Mexico) have taken over much of Latin America, our southern flank is very endangered. The Moscow government maintains strong relationships with the Marxist regimes in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua.

Them we must look at Russia's Muslim allies, especially Iran. While the politics of the Middle East are fractious, Iran is at the forefront of the attacks on Israel and on American, British, and Israeli vessels on the Red Sea. The Iranians are behind the attacks.

Have no doubt that we are witnessing the 22st Century version of the Great Power game. The long term and achievable goal of the Chinese Russian Iranian axis is the overturn of centuries of Western dominance of the globe and specifically the downfall of America.

Because Carlson lets his guests talk unlike a bunch of other interviewers.

The Russians trust Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
******
They are not natural allies. Sanctions and false flagging pushed the Russians into alliances with certain scoundrels. No worse than our dealings with Chinese, the Turks, the Venezuelans, and our own list of acceptable scoundrals.

Bad selection of words.

Putin started the war by invading the Ukraine. The Biden Administration were the ones who fomented the war by their actions and implicit threats regarding their intentions in the Ukraine. Given that Biden's predecessor, Obama and Victoria Nuland openly organized and executed a color revolution in Ukraine that ousted the elected leader of the country in 2014, Putin had every right to take these threats seriously.

Read Putin's words again, he said he doesn't consider the US an enemy

Wait ... are you saying Putin is lying to us?

As Carlson gets celebrity treatment in Moscow, Russia just extended the detention of American journalist Alsu Kurmasheva & Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich. Those defending Carlson should reflect on why Carlson is getting unfettered access while others get detained.

In November 2021, Peskov denied allegations that Russia was preparing for a possible invasion of Ukraine.

Yup…he’s trustworthy.
