We disagree and it is beyond dispute that the Biden Administration was working to provoke Putin and foment an invasion of Ukraine. It is also beyond dispute that Biden and Boris Johnson torpedoed a done deal peaceful dispute resolution between Russia and the Ukrainian the first weeks of the invasion.

Various EU diplomats bragged that the conflict in Ukraine was a willful act on the part of the US and NATO to “attrit” Russian military strength and bleed Russia troops all with a proxy war fought on Ukrainian territory and with only Ukrainian troops getting maimed and killed.

No less a person than Lindsey Graham confirmed our participation in the proxy war.

Not excusing Putin or Russia in this, just providing the context on how and why we are where we are in this insane goat rope.

Given that Biden's predecessor, Obama and Victoria Nuland openly organized and executed a color revolution in Ukraine that ousted the elected leader of the country in 2014, Putin had every right to take these threats seriously.

Thanks for sharing the Russian propaganda talking points about when ordinary Ukrainians decided that a corrupt pro-Russian puppet was not an acceptable leader. Their elected representatives pushed for his removal, and he resigned.

And then the Russians started the fighting, arming and fighting with rebel groups and seizing Crimea.

Nooooo...it is NOT beyond dispute. Those are all Kremlin propagated lies.

Nice try, using the typical Russian propaganda wording. Nothing you said after "We disagree" is true.

Did you ever think that your statement "the Biden Administration was working to provoke Putin" shows that Putin is just a puppet to Biden? Why would a real leader of any country allow his foreign policy to be controlled by another government?

By your logic Putin is so feeble as a leader that a couple of speeches by Joe Biden caused him to launch an invasion of another country and get 100s of thousands of his troops killed, most of his modern armor destroyed, and 1/5 of his Black Sea Fleet sunk. And his inventory of weapons so deleted he has to import artillery shells from North Korea.

That's unlikely to be true, but if it was it would show how much of an idiot Putin was. How dumb does a leader have to be to fall for a scheme that lured him into invading another country? That's like thinking the Nigerian prince's cousin really does have money for you if you just go rob a bank.

That was like an abusive man saying that the woman just kept talking, so he HAD to hit her.

It might might some kind of sense for a second…and you then you realize, “No…that makes no sense.”

If you give that a little bit of thought, probably for the same reason we don’t get rid of ours.

What part of voting out unpopular politicians do you not understand? Revolutions that overthrow the constitution and disenfranchise voters is the sure formula for decades of death

No disrespect sir, but those so called Russian propaganda lies about the lead up and early days of the invasion were just confirmed a month or so ago by the Ukrainian Foreign Minister himself.

In writing, no less.

The context was that the US and NATO were cutting Ukraine loose and the Ukrainians wanted to go on record as to how the only reason that they even started the war was at the urging of Biden, Johnson and NATO and with their promises of unlimited support until victory. ie - they were exposing how they were being back stabbed by Biden and that Biden and NATO need ed to follow through on their promises. Or be exposed . A thinly veiled threat it seemed.

And the fact that Turkey had brokered a deal with Russia and Ukraine that Biden sent Boris to torpedo the agreement at the last minute was widely reported in the news at the time and is simply beyond any dispute.

And who could forget Biden's Wag the Dog PR campaign to use Ukraine to distract and deflect from his unpopular failures in office and to blame Russia for Biden's self inflicted high gas prices and runaway inflation. Remember the ceaseless Biden "Putin Price Hike " mantra. I sure do.

“”””He inherited them fron the Communist Soviet Union””””

President Donald J. Trump to Withdraw the United States from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty

“Russia is solely responsible for the treaty’s demise. Dating back to at least the mid-2000s, Russia developed, produced, flight tested, and has now fielded multiple battalions of its noncompliant missile. The United States first raised its concerns with Russia in 2013. Russia subsequently and systematically rebuffed six years of U.S. efforts seeking Russia’s return to compliance. With the full support of our NATO Allies, the United States has determined Russia to be in material breach of the treaty, and has subsequently suspended our obligations under the treaty. Over the past six months, the United States provided Russia a final opportunity to correct its noncompliance. As it has for many years, Russia chose to keep its noncompliant missile rather than going back into compliance with its treaty obligations.
The United States will not remain party to a treaty that is deliberately violated by Russia. Russia’s noncompliance under the treaty jeopardizes U.S. supreme interests as Russia’s development and fielding of a treaty-violating missile system represents a direct threat to the United States and our allies and partners. The United States greatly appreciates the steadfast cooperation and resolve NATO allies have shown in responding to Russia’s violation.”

They are not natural allies. Sanctions and false flagging pushed the Russians into alliances with certain scoundrels. No worse than our dealings with Chinese, the Turks, the Venezuelans, and our own list of acceptable scoundrals.
_____________________________________________

I have felt that myself, that Putin would have more in common with Western culture, but we kept pushing him away, accusing him of all kinds of things like election interference while we interfered in Ukraine’s elections, and then the West expanded NATO along his borders.

It would have been far better to have Russia as an ally against China.

More nonsense. There was never any serious peace deal. Putin's "offer" was for Ukraine to stop fighting back and to allow the Muscovites to keep what they had taken, and for the Ukrainian government to abdicate so that Putin could install Yanukovich back into office as his puppet.

Period.

Flashback to March 2, 2022:

Ukraine's former President Yanukovych ousted in 2014 is in Minsk, Kremlin wants to reinstall him in Kyiv

Read Putin's words again, he said he doesn't consider the US an enemy Wait ... are you saying Putin is lying to us?

Maybe Putin doesn't consider the Neocons to be all of America. Have you ever thought of that?
