Tucker Carlson has confirmed he is in Moscow to interview Vladimir Putin - and he's doing it because 'Americans are not informed' about the war in Ukraine.
The former Fox News host announced on X on Tuesday that he would be publishing an interview with the Russian despot, following widespread speculation after he was pictured leaving the Kremlin in Moscow on Monday.
Carlson, 54, said the interview would air 'unedited' on his website, without a paywall, and on X, making him the first American to interview Putin since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.
'Two years into a war that's reshaping the entire world, most Americans are not informed,' the conservative commentator said of the conflict in Ukraine. 'They have no real idea what's happening in this region. But they should know, they're paying for much of it in ways they might not fully perceive.'

He never WAS an objective reporter. At best, he was a quasi-journalist; but a very entertaining TV presenter. When all is said and done, a journalist strives to entertain (and if he or she can sneak in some agenda, that’s just lagniappe).

I have neighbors that have no idea about any of the protests in Europe or the sorry state of that total waste and fraud of US taxpayer money fiasco in Ukraine.

If we want “Objective Reporting” we can always reference the WSJ, New York Times, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN, The Washington Post, The AP, Reuters, and....well...you know...all the other manufactured consent, media sources that ultimately say the same thing.
I’m sure that Carlson will not be without his critics. If the interview has weak points and/or shallow journalism, then it will be pointed out here and on social media. I’m sorry that Putin didn’t grant an interview to Joe Scarborough.
Anybody who says that the West were engaging Ukraine against Russia for the best of reasons is definitely misinformed.
It should be a good podcast when he releases it.

Any journalist with the slightest degree of integrity, or basic curiosity about world affairs, should leap at the opportunity to interview Putin. The quality of the interview will be fair to scrutinize, but the idea of conducting an interview is a 100% no-brainer

They claim anything that is not from them and their “objective” reporting, is propaganda.

Putin is a Communist. Be very careful as he’s playing both sides. Same goes for Xi Jinping, as Tucker has said some glowing things about China lately, specifically their anti-LGBTQ stances and tough on crime.

Not a single American journalist has interviewed the leader of a nation waging a war that has taken hundreds of thousands of lives. America’s propaganda cabal has conducted literally hundreds of pep rallies for the other leader, however.
We need real journalism.

I’m sure Tucker has information that you and I don’t that goes against the narrative and he’ll make it a very balanced presentation when releases it.
He’s proven himself to be pretty solid once he quit MSM.
