Putin sounds very reasonable in the Tucker interview.
But it doesn’t explain 500,000 dead, or journalists and government government figures frequently falling out of windows, or the treatment of Alexander Navalny (which is worse than Trump, at the moment), and so on....

Oh, I disagree. A REPORTER seeks to inform facts, not editorialize or entertain. A JOURNALIST may employ facts, but his or her main objective is to influence; and one of the best ways to influence is to make the message entertaining (i.e., keep the audience engaged).

So all day today there are fake stories about Ukraine being "out of ammunition" - an absurd charge - and that a town called Avdiivka will "fall" to Russia if we don't send the $60 billion immediately (they don't tell you that Avdiivka has 87.2% native Russian speakers vs. 12.5% Ukranian).

No.... he most assuredly is not. Communism in Russia is in gadfly status like the David Duke types here. He has openly warned America about not following the path into madness that his nation did in the 1920a.
