51% percent of voters in New Hampshire's Republican presidential primary contest considered themselves Republicans, down from 55% in the party's 2016 contest

...

New Hampshire is a semi-open primary, allowing "undeclared" registered voters to vote in either primary, giving independents a say in the Republican presidential nominating contest.

Roughly two-thirds of undeclared independents broke for runner-up Nikki Haley on Tuesday night

...

51% said they think Joe Biden did not legitimately win the 2020 presidential election.

...

75% said the condition of the U.S. economy is not so good or poor, while 24% said it is excellent or good.

57% said they expect the next generation of Americans to be worse off, compared 33% in 2016.

37% of voters said the economy mattered most when deciding how they would vote in the contest, compared to 31% who said immigration mattered most. 12% cited abortion policy and 14% said foreign policy.

It’s not election interference since it’s allowed by (stupid) rules.

Primary elections should be private affairs run (and paid for) by the two dying “major parties”, with whatever voter qualification criteria they desire.

Continuing to spend public money on the two party charade is disgraceful.

South Carolina is an open primary state.
Haley knows this and is counting on heavy democrat crossover shenanigans.
The open primary is how our RINOs stay in power.

And a bet that a large percentage of those who claimed to be Republican were Democrats too.

Because Democrats cheat — the end justifies the means is their mantra — and if they can keep Trump off of the ballot or Trump to fail in the primaries, then they have succeeded. And it was okay to lie and cheat.

That is how they rigged it by not really allowing any competition to Biden. They wanted to be sure that Democrats could vote in Republican primaries.

RFK Jr. really screwed things up by changing to an Independent. Even though they weren’t going to allow him on the ballot as a Democrat in some states, he certainly could have been on the ballot in SC and forced Democrats to vote for Biden in the primary.

The open primary is how our RINOs stay in power.”

The other tool is getting at least 2 pretenders to run in the primaries to split the base. That is how McTraitor, Flake, Graham and many others survived.

Democrats have no morals, no integrity, and no conscience.

This is disgusting.

Do you believe you can form a governing majority from existing MAGA voters? Say, 340 representatives and 61 Senators?

Keep your eyes on the prize.

I agree with this, and everywhere they are pushing ranked choice voting for the same reason: To keep Dems and Rhinos (the uniparty) in power.

That is why I have always backed “closed primaries;” i.e. where only those registered to the party holding the primary can vote in it. If the independents want to vote in a party primary, let them either register with that party or support their own “independent” party candidate.

That's just stupid. The purpose of a partisan primary election is for members of that party to choose the candidate who best represents the goals and agenda of their party.
