On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN This Morning” CNN Political Commentator and former Obama Adviser Van Jones stated that while there are good jobs numbers in the black community, “they’re crappy jobs.”
Co-host Phil Mattingly asked, “[T]he Biden team has constantly tried to make the pitch on the economy that, look, if you look at the topline numbers, it’s great, it’s defying all expectations and people responding to pollsters say, no, it’s not, not at all. We completely disagree. Although, in the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen a shift in consumer sentiment. The University of Michigan survey popped 13 points in January. That was very unexpected. You saw the Dow hit a new record. You’ve spoken rather eloquently about the issues here that they face on the economy. Do you think things are turning?”

The never ending whining. Congenital losers.
Funny, jobs were plentiful index President Trump.
Just wait until all these illegal start taking their places for these menial jobs.
Under.
They could work in their neighborhood supermarkets. If those hadn’t gone out of business. Because of theft.
.
There’s no way this fool can be so stupid that he just figured this out.
The Jobs reports are about laborers, cleaning houses, hospice old age workers, and working at fast food places.
Nikki Haley wants to bring in Skilled workers for CEOs and I can post the links!
Starting with Barack Owebama, the Left and Academia believes that they can’t achieve their goals without an unhappy, discontented, Middle Class. They want them forced to stand in the weather waiting for buses to take them to the Burger King for work, and they vote for a $600 (one-time) Gov check.
This is by design.
Note to Van- Thanks to Biden there a lot of crappy jobs for everyone white, black yellow and whatever color.
And thanks to Joe Biden those jobs are getting crappier and crappier for everyone and the pool of crappy jobs for anyone of all persuasions is steadily shrinking
So, grow up and get your funky asses moving and quit whining and crying.
I would have guessed there’s near full employment....what with advertisements (everywhere you look) almost exclusively Black people.
RE: “they’re crappy jobs.”
Define “crappy” job, Mr. Jones.
There were only two black men in my computer science courses. Zero black women.
The demographics of my coworkers looked a lot like the demographics of my classmates.
I’ll let them on a little known secret, there’s lots of crappy jobs in the white community as well.
Van Jones is right, 100% right. There are very few good urban jobs. A black kid with a high school diploma might get lucky, and land a municipal job. Then he’s got a shot at a middle class lifestyle. But that’s about it.
Now here’s what Van Jones and his pals don’t get. Urban folks have been sold out by both parties. Democrats want to keep urban blacks poor and dependent. Republicans just don’t care. The urban black voting block will never vote R.
Ah, but there is one exception to all that. And that exception is Donald Trump. Trump wanted to bring industry back to America. That would have meant good factory jobs for city folks. A place to start, and a place to earn good money while moving up in the organization.
But, no. The establishment didn’t want that. So Trump and his ideas had to go.
If they’d stop thinking in terms of ‘community’ and start thinking as individuals they might get somewhere.

Great post.
I’ll leave it at that.
Agreed.
Here's a clue. During my 25 years of teaching in an urban high school setting, I'd see HERDS of black kids roaming the halls when they were supposed to be in class. They'd peek in door windows and try to distract their friends who WERE in class trying to learn. They'd vandalize bulletin boards and any equipment they could find. If they finally made it to a class, they were virtually always the first ones to act out. Their test scores were therefore predictably low. Their homework submissions were virtually non-existent. Their attitude was "acting in a mannerly way in a classroom and doing their work" was "acting white". I was told by some that "they didn't have to listen to me, 'cos I was white".
Based on my personal experience, I am not at all surprised to hear that the jobs in the black community are crappy jobs. But why are blacks limited to jobs only in their own community? Could they be lacking in qualifications due to their behavior in younger years, rejecting the tools which would have prepared them for higher level employment?
