Former President Donald Trump's businesses received millions of dollars from foreign entities located in 20 different countries during his presidency, according to a new report released Thursday by Democrats on the House Oversight committee.
The top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, Rep. Jamie Raskin, released the report and provided documents from Trump's former accounting firm that show that 20 governments, including China and Saudi Arabia, paid at least $7.8 million during Trump's presidency to business entities that included Trump International Hotels in Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas, and Trump Towers in New York.
The 156-page report by House Democrats is entitled "White House For Sale."
In the forward to the report, Raskin wrote, "By elevating his personal financial interests and the policy priorities of corrupt foreign powers over the American public interest, former President Trump violated both the clear commands of the Constitution and the careful precedent set and observed by every previous commander in chief."
The reports says that, according to "limited records" obtained by the committee, Saudi Arabia likely paid Trump-owned business at least $615,422 during Trump's first term in office.

Meanwhile, speaking of hotels:
Meanwhile, cousin Thomas Pritzker is named in newly unsealed documents relating to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Virginia Giuffre claims she was trafficked overseas to have sex with the now 73-year-old, who is chairman of Hyatt Hotels and CEO of the Pritzker Organization
Of course if I found out that my dad was a POS like Ratskin, I might "take steps", too.
Trump owned legitimate businesses that attracted foreign investment.
What businesses did the Bidens own besides the political worth of Biden?
FReegards
Oh really?? They mean that Trump’s overseas resorts actually derived revenue from overseas customers?
Back in the 90s I worked doing accounting in the hospitality industry. One of the things that caught my eye was the line item "postage" for most people it was zero but there were a few people who apparently were mailing entire apartments. All of them had Arab names. I asked and found out that their bar bills were always placed under postage and the government would pay without blinking an eye.
I suspect highly that Trump’s hotels had similar receipts
from these companies before he ran for president. The
funds were treated at all times as normal business, and
the funds were sorted as any other business receipts were.
This tells you how bad the Biden situation is, and how
desperately they are trying to find some way to make it
look like the Biden’s shenanigans were nothing more than
Trump type business, which they most certainly were.
“Well, As I recall Trump was not taking what he was due as President.”
You’re correct there. As president he is given everything he and the family needs that live with him to be very comfortable. Room and Board at high numbers. When he entered the position he resigned form his businesses and his younger family and senior accountant took control of it. Every president does that to erase the appearance of conflict of interest. And what he did before and after is none of their business. And this is only being done to try to cover the Biden business machine he was personally involved in.
But the new owners are not going to change the name for four to eight years when they give it back. And very few of the presidents over resent years were career workers that became politicians. That is what made Trump so different and hard to catch. So they had to stretch it to try to get him every way they could since 2016 and now to protect Biden. See Alinsky.

Didn’t they use this page from the same playbook in 2017?
Blind Trust.
So What?
Go Pound Sand.
Here we go again with the emoluments clause B.S.
The media are trying to make these sound like gifts or even bribes, but as far as I can tell they were simply revenues for services rendered, e.g., hotel rooms, office space, etc.

Right.
Because Trump's business appeared like magic the day he was sworn in.
Trump never made a dime on any businesses prior to that day.
.
funny... so did the bidens.
of course, President Trump has owned hotels for decades. The bidens only recently came into influence and access peddling with 0bama. prior to that they were deep in kid sex trafficking... servicing democrat needs around the country.

The Republicans own the House.
No way that report comes out on Dem when the Dems own the House.
Do you remember how Nancy changed the rules when she pleased? Did she care about tradition when she rejected the Minority party selections for the J6 Committee?
No Opposition Party
And how much business did his companies do with non-Americans before he was president?
