Abigail Martinez, a mother who lost her daughter to suicide, is seeking justice and protection for families facing similar situations.
First Liberty Institute has submitted a brief to the Supreme Court on her behalf, urging the court to uphold parental rights in a case involving the removal of a child from Christian parents due to their religious beliefs about sexuality.
Abigail’s daughter, Yaeli, struggled with depression and sexuality, and was ultimately taken from her home and given gender-transition treatments without parental consent. (Trending: Top Democrat Loses In Historic Landslide)
“My child was a number in the system. I don’t want any other parent to suffer and go through what I’ve been going through,” Martinez said. “You are transgender and the only way to be happy is to change your gender,” Yaeli was told.
Despite her devout Christian beliefs, Abigail was forbidden from discussing her faith during supervised visits.
The case highlights the violation of parental rights and religious freedom, and the Supreme Court has the opportunity to protect these rights.

One hundred years ago God had not yet been shoved down into the basement culturally speaking. That it is now safe to back this trans nonsense with no worries tells us all we need to know about how we have been degraded by this process.

The article doesn’t say WHERE this happened. A couple of clicks on links revealed that the crime against the child and her parents was in California, which is the state that is most aggressive about abridging parents’ rights.
Supervised visits? Did the state government take custody of her kid?

As is Washington. A clergyman lost a suit concerning de-transitioning or something twisted last week. I believe that case is headed to the SCOTUS too.
Before WW II one man worked to feed one family after WW II one man and one woman worked to raise one family. Most don't have a clue how bad the economy was before WW II. I was born in 1938 in small town Oklahoma and my father was working for 50¢ a day, sunup til sundown chopping cross ties for the rail road.
Money came with the war but there was nothing to buy with it except booze which was in plentiful supply. Most here have no clue what ration stamps were, white oleo or unsliced bread, even bubble gum was severely rationed. We survived I have serious doubts my grand children and their children will live free in America the Beautiful.
