President Joe Biden echoed the warnings of his defense secretary in an address to the public this week, saying if Congress does not pass $64 billion in aid to Ukraine, U.S. troops will end up fighting Russia in Europe.
“This cannot wait. Congress needs to pass supplemental funding for Ukraine before they break for the holiday recess. It’s as simple as that,” Biden began.
He then accused skeptical Republicans in Congress of being “willing to give Putin the greatest gift he could hope for and abandon our global leadership not just to Ukraine, but beyond that.”

It’s gotta be a bluff.
The audio quote is what you need to hear.
Biden has a way of conveying utter mindless menace.
Led by the ‘Resident Alien.
Silly me, I thought that only Congress could declare war against another country.
There’s a campaign issue that MIGHT top abortion-up-to-birth
How globohomos make war: grift machines for Biden.
How Israelis make war: eradicate the enemy completely.
They’ve made it obvious...This is what they’ve wanted all along...
They know what’s coming with Trump, and these SOBs will start WWIII if it can somehow better insulate and protect themselves.
That sounds more like what Zelensky would say......
We had a draft then. They protested because they didn’t want to go to war.
Yet they did and 18,000 draftees came home dead.
Likely nowhere.
But the Ukes should never have given up their nukes post Soviet breakup. AND, the West should not have told them their security was guaranteed by them if they gave them up.
At this point, demographics say the Ukeswill like to a Russia determined to stay in for the long haul. Numbers are numbers.
The West is unwilling to upend their economies to crash manufacture weapons the Ukes need, esp. Artillery shells. And the Ukes don’t have the manpower to go toe to toe.
I think it would be better to re arm the Ukes with sufficient nuclear weapons to destroy Russia and let THEM do a Mexican standoff with Putkn and see who blinks first.
Change my mind?
All in an attempt to force the House to abandon its initiative to tie border security to the funds they demand.
Standard plays. Certainly demonstrates the bias of the media and their agenda.
I would expect the House to ignore this as the country is mostly getting fed up with the illegal alien invasion as it's beginning to affect significant numbers of dem voters.
That was nutty.
Biden assures Zelenskiy that NATO membership in Ukraine's hands, Kyiv says December 10, 2021
That wouldn’t make any sense, they don’t fit together, this statement was about the possibility of NATO being invaded after Russia finished with Ukraine, and the fact that we will defend NATO if it is attacked.
Ignore the fake titles and look for what they said.
So far this is what we are told Austin said.
“If [Vladimir] Putin takes over Ukraine, he’ll get Moldova, Georgia, then maybe the Baltics,”
“And then the idea that we’ll have to put troops on the ground in Secretary Austin’s word was very likely,” McCaul, R-Texas, said. “That’s what we’re trying to avoid.”
This is the quote from Biden
““If he keeps going and then he attacks a NATO Ally — well, we’ve committed as a NATO member that we’d defend every inch of NATO territory — then we’ll have something that we don’t seek and that we don’t have today: American troops fighting Russian troops.”
Not paying any attention to the fake titles in the first place. Cut the sophistry.
I’m fighting to overcome these ridiculous responses to these fake headlines, including your sophistry.
Once again if you read the quote he simply did not say it.
As with Lloyd Austin, he predicted that if Putin is not stopped he will eventually attack a NATO country and that would require American involvement.
This whole isolationist thing is leading America and the republican party into a disaster.
But they did NOT threaten to send in American troops if funding is denied and that is clear to anyone reading the quotes.
It’s simply a dishonest argument.
Lame. You're so anal retentively focused on literal understandings of out of context statements you can't even come up with an original comeback.
