But the Ukes should never have given up their nukes post Soviet breakup. AND, the West should not have told them their security was guaranteed by them if they gave them up.
At this point, demographics say the Ukeswill like to a Russia determined to stay in for the long haul. Numbers are numbers.
The West is unwilling to upend their economies to crash manufacture weapons the Ukes need, esp. Artillery shells. And the Ukes don’t have the manpower to go toe to toe.
I think it would be better to re arm the Ukes with sufficient nuclear weapons to destroy Russia and let THEM do a Mexican standoff with Putkn and see who blinks first.
