LEGO Leaves San Francisco — before Christmas — as Retail Flight Continues

The LEGO store in the San Francisco Centre mall has officially closed, right in the middle of the Christmas retail season, joining a retail exodus from the city that is driven by crime, homelessness, drugs, and the nation’s slowest post-pandemic recovery.

As Breitbart News has noted, Westfield stopped making mortgage payments on the San Francisco Centre mall in June, after losing Nordstrom, which was its anchor tenant. Many other retail businesses, small and large, boutique and chain, have left.

Well Arlington is closer to Fort Worth, so it should be The Fort Worth Cowboys, if anything.

That would be more appropriate, since Ft. Worth, "where the West begins," is famous for its stock yards, which are now a tourist attractdion.

Minnesota has the same thing with Minneapolis and St. Paul, they even split I-35, like DFW does, so they are the Minnesota Vikings.

So really, it should be the Texas Cowboys.

Why do they continue to call the team the San Francisco 49ers? They're now in Santa Clara, which is 40 miles away, and although it's also a blue city, Santa Clara's culture and atmosphere are poles apart from that of Frisco.

The ironic part of that picture is that Lego has released a few sets using that brown piece to represent poop, and some other sets using it to represent chocolate ice cream.

The full name of the current Los Angeles Angels changed from the Los Angeles Angels to the California Angels in 1965 before becoming the Anaheim Angels in 1997. Sadly, the Civil War museum in Ft. Worth is closing. It emphasized the role of Texas in the war. But harassment from the wokesters likely wore its management down, so it is now "cancelled."
