The FIB is a bastion of apparent hostility and evil.
Imagine the thought process of someone who is currently or could shortly be working for Mr. X, whom he hates. He is or could be working indirectly for X but he feels he can say anything bad about X that he wants to say. Further, by putting it on the internet he might as well be chipping it in stone. He has to feel secure that it won’t affect his job prospects. Further, those posts are intended to reassure the people controlling promotions that he is on “their” side. That should tell us a lot about who he works for.
Any questions why he got the promotion?
The DoJ is an organization where they high 5 each other whenever they get an innocent person convicted. They are also good at murdering unarmed women holding babies, mass gassing of children and sending platoons of armored agents after the elderly.
They’re starting to go into hiding for fear of Trumps election.

I grew up respecting the FBI.
As an adult I looked on as the agency destroyed every bit of that respect.
Into many ways it’s more like the KGB these days.
Once upon a time, FBI agents were pretty much a button down, white bread, (no reflection of skin color), conservative bunch. But, as the moral fiber of our country devolves, so does the FBI. They, like other entities, are just a microcosm of our world.
He should be removed from his position; such officials must be non-partisan. If not, there will always be the stench of partisanship and corruption about them.

Seems to me that there may be far more to this (constant attacks on Trump, their DESPERATE attempts to stop him from running, exc...) than just Never-Trumpism?

Nixon got a lot of flak for one or two clumsy attempts to use agencies against political opponents. Under Biden there is 100 times as much politicization of the agencies (FBI, DOJ, etc.) and the media doesn't consider it newsworthy.
