The Hamas wing of the republican party
Everything you say is correct but the fundamental problem IMO is that the GOP doesn’t really want to lead. Ever. The party’s culture and DNA is one of weakness, appeasement and caving. I just don’t see that changing regardless of who they ultimately choose as Speaker.
Rep Jordan has the conference majority. These guys are saying the conference majority does not matter. The crowd who resolves issues by negotiating away the conservative platform is now unwilling to negotiate away the liberal platform. At some point Ronna McDaniel is going to be forced to bring party discipline or there will not be a conservative platform to negotiate away.
Is there ever going to be a Republican who can give a speech calling abortion a state issue? The Supreme Court has struck it down as a federal issue. Can they not understand? It needs to be local; it is a drawback of freedom that some localities approve behavior that brings suppression of women and death. A nameless, faceless autocracy cannot dictate that everybody approves of the methods that the left extracts sexual gratification from women while degrading everything that is special about a woman.
It would be such a tragedy if this group of enemies of America vacationed in Alaska and got caught in an avalanche. If Romney and McConnell chaperoned the trip, it would make it even sadder.....
Now we know what he would’ve done had he been seated in the Senate. Time to make him a one-term Congressman and get a Conservative instead. What a shame.
Here is his number. You will go to voice mail. They think by primary time you will forget. Call and let them know you won’t
(202) 225-4961
They don’t call the Republicans “The Stupid Party” for nothing.
These 20-25 RINOs will only vote for a Derp State Speaker that’ll send more taxpayer $$ to Dick Tator Zelensky. No more.
The phone calls from the ‘Big Money Donors’ show that is the only action that matters when it comes to how a House Member will vote.
From what I have read most of the GOP ‘contact us’ phones have been shut off.
But the House personal phones for the lobbyists to call in on remain open.
I hope Jordan hangs in there.
With Jordan’s conference majority, a republican seeking to get democrat votes to be speaker would need almost all of them
“ The phone calls from the ‘Big Money Donors’ show that is the only action that matters when it comes to how a House Member will vote.”
American fascism on open display for any who wish to look.
What’s the odds that this is all kabuki theater by the republican leaders in order to blow past a debt ceiling limit with no action taken.
I read that 12 of those RINOs, including Steve Scalise, accepted money from Steve FTX and used something they call mules to hide other donations. For instance Steve Scalise received 22 small donations, in one day, from a senior citizen woman in Georgia
Thanks.
I would be optimistic about Scalise performing well, but Jordan would be my top pick.
What a great turn of phrase. I am going to steel this with one minor modification
Dick Tater gopE scum do nothings who collect $$$ from their overlords, the Elite
McCarthy’s fault as well for going along with the ridiculous notion (in order to secure his election) that any member of the conference could, at any time, launch a motion to vacate the chair. That was not a good idea, under any circumstances. And now here we are in this hot mess.
And Jim Jordan scores with 94%. No wonder the GOP Establishment Pukes are fighting so hard to keep him from becoming House Speaker.
A house divided is a house defeated.
If the conference does not unite, you will have a Dem speaker...simple as that.
Jordan is a good guy but his strategy here is not helping him.
Gaetz is just a attention seeking creep.
Good old Pete He’s my guy in Minnesota 8th. At least until the primary
“I would be careful about wishing people dead.
Not only is it dangerous..it is very bad karma.”
Seems to be working for Iranian leadership, radical blacks, all sorts of criminals and Palestians. They probably wouldn’t like your opinion.
