Rep Jordan has the conference majority. These guys are saying the conference majority does not matter. The crowd who resolves issues by negotiating away the conservative platform is now unwilling to negotiate away the liberal platform. At some point Ronna McDaniel is going to be forced to bring party discipline or there will not be a conservative platform to negotiate away.

Is there ever going to be a Republican who can give a speech calling abortion a state issue? The Supreme Court has struck it down as a federal issue. Can they not understand? It needs to be local; it is a drawback of freedom that some localities approve behavior that brings suppression of women and death. A nameless, faceless autocracy cannot dictate that everybody approves of the methods that the left extracts sexual gratification from women while degrading everything that is special about a woman.

With Jordan’s conference majority, a republican seeking to get democrat votes to be speaker would need almost all of them
