Tesla, General Motors, and Ford have reportedly all hit the brakes on electric vehicle (EV) production, citing concerns of economic uncertainties fears of a slowdown in EV demand.
On Wednesday, Tesla joined General Motors and Ford in being cautious about expanding EV production capacity, with the company’s CEO Elon Musk saying he was worried that higher borrowing costs would prevent potential customers from affording Tesla vehicles, according to a report by Reuters.
“People hesitate to buy a new car if there’s uncertainty in the economy,” Musk reportedly said on a post-earnings call. “I don’t want to be going into top speed into uncertainty.”

What I dread is mandatory EVs for citizens now that government ones are forced on us.
They’ll deny gas stations and oil companies the right to exist and deny us the government money to EV purchasers.
Awesome. This article a two-fer for our side. 1 a kick in the pants to the EV zealots and 2 an admission Bidenomics is faltering
Well that’s odd. How we gonna save muvver erf?

Big Boom is here.
But it's not worth discussing at this point, because on top of everything else, the government is deliberately sabotaging our electrical infrastructure.

Like that’s the only reason. How about a lot of people are hearing about how awful EV’s are. Buyers are reporting real life experiences with EV’s and they suck.
Way overpriced, lousy range, poor charge times, laughable ability for the grid or power generation to support them, and close to zero resale value. Hmmm, I wonder if that might be the reason.
Gotta give Musk credit on one count, though: Tesla has eliminated cobalt from the roster of materials needed to make their batteries.

On the open highway I’ve found they’re the slowest vehicles out there; the range drops off precipitously the faster they go.
Ya think that might be smart????
Don’t forget random chance of explodiness.
Nobody wants the damn things.
I see Tesla and Blink charging stations going up in commercial parking lots around my area. Your tax dollars at work; but it will be a long time if ever the average supermarket will need 12-15 chargers at any given time. Then again they will be on the map for suckers from miles around in desperate need, so maybe they expect some new customers, doing some shopping while their cars charge up.
Nobody wants the damn things.“
It’s as simple as that.
It’s a government push and no more. Gas is so much more available and your car doesn’t burst into flames.
takes unlimited streams of 0.5% auto loans to fly in the face of reality....
And there is enough fuel for a thousand years.
The taxpayer money mus be running out. Don’t worry trump n McCarthy will save you.
