@Forbes
Rep. Mike Rogers, who chairs the Armed Services Committee, told reporters Thursday after a closed-door House GOP meeting that he wants Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to tell Republicans what concessions they’ll have to make for Democrats to help them elect a speaker.

That explains it. He needs no mask, an out in the open rat collaborator and nothing to worry about.
What fing loser.
Outrageous is an understatement. Can’t imagine the ‘concessions’ the Washington Generals would have to make for cooperation. I get disgusted when the Dems run to the mike in front of the cameras and gloat, “we rolled them again”. There is no way out of this national hell the Dems have set upon us.
Logic has gone out of style on FR. Politics is the art of the possible. Politics is about addition, not subtraction. But mention that these days, and you get denounced as a Rino, or worse, by folks who demand a result not possible given the results of the last election, and who work very hard indeed to insure that they have as few allies as possible.
Yeah. I remember this guy. The one with the toupee
Mike Rogers Lunges at Matt Gaetz During Vote Amid Tensions

This sub member blackmail has been going on since McCarthy was elected speaker.
Wonder why McCarthy made promises and then had to reverse himself?
Guys like Rodgers telling him if he did not roll over to their RINO demands, they would file their own motion to vacate the chair and depose him.
McCarthy was put in an untenable position that essentially makes the House ungovernable and allows the Democrats to create their own coalition with Republicans.
I imagine Skyhook Hakeem will want the of the court they shoot at to have bigger hoops.
Why don’t the Republicans pull a “Nancy Pelosi”? You know, agree to what the D’s want to get their votes and then don’t honor any of it. Like Old Nan did to McCarthy when she told him she “had his back”. Once the R’s don’t cave to Democrat demands, they can remind them they are just following in Nancy’s footsteps. Two can play Nancy’s game...IF they have the cohones to follow through with it? I do hope Jim Jordon gets SOTH.
No, Kevin — you are a bloviating fool. As the minority party, the Democrats can’t pass or block anything in the House.
I really don’t think even the GOP-e is going to off themselves just to make Jeffries happy.
Tell the ‘RATs and RINOs that there is no deal. Elections have consequences.
“Forbes: Rep. Mike Rogers wants Hakeem Jeffries to tell Republicans what concessions they’ll have to make for Democrats to help them elect a Speaker”
IF this is true he has to get primaryed out!
Can somebody please look up the biggest primary upset in history?
At this point in our nations history I don’t care how big this guy won last time; when the smoke clears, IF this is true, this quisling mutt has to get bounced out.
We have no time for a pos like this pulling this kind of stunt.
That POS scummy RINO is siding with HAMAS!!!! REP. MIKE ROGER HAMAS!!! Boot him out!!! Floridians you have your work cutout for you!!
Find out Rogers dealings...if any are criminal,, get him out..repub gov to appoint populist replacement.....who is decent fiscal conservative and good for Alabamans. Will be reelected.

Instead, Democrats stabbed him in the back and Democrats showed up and voted against him so ensure he was ousted.
Now Nancy is very close effectively putting a Democrat controlled Speaker into the house.
If you live in the real world and have to deal with the reality of what is possible.
The recent crap with Mike Rodgers highlights what McCarthy had to deal with.
Rodgers is the Matt Gaetz of the RINO wing of the Republican caucus and he wields a lot of clout. He has obviously been playing the Vacate the Chair blackmail game with McCarty behind the scenes and has been plotting the almost inevitable RINO- Democrat “moderate” axis coup since McCarthy was elected.
It's all coming together for him now.
Under the crappy hand McCarthy was deal in this ungovernable situation, the best he could have hoped for is pretty much what he was doing, trying to patch holes to the extent that he could and to concentrate on winning a more secure majority in 2024.
Now we are in a high stakes disaster navigating uncharted waters at the worst possible time.
Pray the Republicans can come together under Jim Jordan but the RINO wing hates Jordan with a passion so the back room deals they will have to cut to Jim Jordan in place is going to seriously hobble him as Speaker until at least after the 2024 elections.
I don't think that Jordan's tenure as Speaker will be all that much different than McCarthy's unless the Vacate the Chair rule is rescinded to allow Jim Jordan to be the benevolent tyrant a successful Speaker needs to be.
Short of that, Jordan will have to deal with same dynamics that McCarthy had to deal with and will have to navigate the same narrow straights McCarthy had to.
Absent the rescinding of the Vacate the Chair rule, Jordan's tenure will be more a matter of style rather than substance over what McCarthy's tenure.
Frankly, a strong case could be made that we would be lucky to have McCarthy back at this point.
.
If Shaqueen Hijabjihad wasn’t such exactly what he is, he would tempt Rogers with one of the last remaining Blue Dogs as Dem Speaker, either Peltola (hawt) or Golden (an actual old-school Blue Dog).

HEAR! HEAR!
Also, note that more than a few posts are clearly NOT from a conservative.
Interlopers whose objective is dissension.
FR adds value to the conversation with insightful comments, for and against.
The interlopers add nothing, only subtracting from the conversation.
The WSJ comments section added a skip-over button that mutes the time wasters; works well.
This guy needs to be primaried. That is the only way we get to hear him explain himself.
Enhanced it a bit.
