On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Source,” Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) responded to a question on whether he’d hold up a bill to prevent a government shutdown if it doesn’t have Ukraine funding by stating that “we’re going to do whatever we have to do to fight to make sure Ukraine funding happens and it happens in a way that gives them the unbroken resources that they need to continue to repel this Russian invasion.”
Host Kaitlan Collins asked, “Are you willing to hold up any bill that comes to the Senate without that funding for Ukraine in it?”

It’s a very easy win for the Repukes if they want it. Veterans aren’t being paid because Zelensky isn’t getting money. The single mother isn’t getting child care payments because we won’t agree to give Zelensky substantially more. Social Security checks won’t go out because Zelensky isn’t getting money. Americans paid into the system and Zelensky should be the beneficiary of it? Not on my watch! It’s a layup if they aren’t morons....so we’ll see.
The deep state pressure to siphon off more money is immense. Greedy people never get enough; more money just stimulates the drive for more money.
Sure, let the Democrats and Republican Neohawks, who were more interested in Ukraine than the US shut the government down. It’s on them!
As we can now see, all this angst over McCarthy getting the boot was over Ukraine.
We can see that McCarthy had already struck deals behind our backs to pass all the funding. The man lied over and over.
Now, the democrats can shut down the government over Ukraine and absorb the ire for a shutdown.
Of course the repukes would have to actually take advantage of the situation. Never mind.....
Booker wouldn’t care about Ukraine unless there was a fat kickback for him.
