I’m coming to the conclusion that the Communist Russians want is to drain our resources in Ukraine, and that the Dems won’t allow any major escalation to allow for just this,without any sort of substantial arms buildup or replacement of depleted arms. Then once drained then Putin fgoes for the kill shot. Ironically the hard paleo left are also not fans of the whole Ukraine thing (our old nemesis Code Pink, ANSWER, World Can’t Wait, various Communist parties, ect).
Yes, a minority of Republicans have turned into fundamentalist hippies from the 60’s, pushing for the “no-war at ANY cost” ideology - which in fact will cost us dearly - way more in the end if we follow that looser defeatist ideology.
If we let our archennemies expand everywhere all around the planet, while we are retreating all over... well... then good old mighty America is finished.
The kings on the block will be the China-Russia-North Korea-Cuba-Venezuela-Nicaragua-IRAN alliance.
The only thing they need to make that happen, is for American hippies in the house pushing for doing NOTHING and continue their far left hippie ideology.

The post WWII made America a hyper-power and rich. The end of the (first) Cold War produced a period of economical decline for America though.
But, if we don’t turn into hippies and start understading that the Cold War is actually back in full force, with constant nuclear threats coming from Russia against us and Russia expanding into our allies territories, then the timing is ideal for America to once again show it’s strength and become a leader of the free anti-communist world. Economically it will once again propel America forward.
Russia can’t even beat Ukraine. Poland would kick their ass even without our help, if they were stupid enough to try.
If Democrats shutter government and keep it shuttered I’m going to have to change parties for the next election.
