Gingrich on House Republicans Voting to Oust McCarthy: ‘They’re Traitors’
Breitbart ^ | 10/04/2023 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 10/04/2023 7:30:57 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

During an appearance on Tuesday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Hannity,” former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich declared those Republicans who voted to remove Kevin McCarthy from the House Speaker’s post earlier in the day to be “traitors.”

“I think it’s a very sad day because I think Kevin McCarthy is one of the most talented leaders I’ve ever worked with,” he said. “I think that he accomplished an amazing amount for having a small majority and being — having to take on both the Senate and the White House. And I think this is really a tragic outcome. This was a leader who both gained seats in 2020, gained seats in 2022, increased the number of women members, increased the number of veterans, increased the number of minority members, and he had a vision for a better future. And let’s be clear here, Sean. You know, if the University of Georgia Bulldogs, who are the number one team in the country right now, if you started a game and four of the members of the offensive squad decided they were actually on the Alabama side and began tackling your own people, you probably get them off the field.”

Gingrich, get lost. You’re apparently senile and forgot your own roots.

Funny how Newt only believes they are traitors because the went against The Club, but when they unilaterally SCREW THE AMERICAN PEOPLE they are somehow heroes of democracy...

I have said for years that Newt Gingrich is a perfect representation of everything that is wrong with our government.

The good news is that if he's saying this sh!t on Fox News, there's a chance nobody outside the Hannity family is even watching him.

And if the quarterback tells his recievers to go long and he'll get the ball to them, all the while pitching the ball to the nearest Alabama lineman and then thwarting attempts to tackle the guy, maybe that quarterback needs to be taken off the field.

We have the evil party and the stupid party. They are two wings of the Uniparty. I have no love for McCarthy but when I see a circular firing squad forming I don’t look for a good outcome.

There is little hope for this country in the near term. I feel it must be broken to pieces to be reformed. The normal, usual state of humanity is hungry slavery under a tyrants boot. Coming soon to a former republic near you.

“I think that he accomplished an amazing amount for having a small majority and being — having to take on both the Senate and the White House."

I'm trying to be open-minded and willing to listen to all sides. What accomplishments is Newt referring to? There must be some? I don't see any changes or improvements on the major issues facing this nation - bloated spending of Fed.gov, weaponized courts and bureaucracy, corrupt DOJ, invasion of the Southern border, war in Ukraine. All continue apace.

but I'm willing to listen.

Newt Gingrich is supporting the ousted surrender monkey and globalist RINOs.

I suppose he’s just trying to stay relevant with the media rather than America First.

Kind of pitiful.

This is a really good point.

If the Bulldogs were driving down the field IN THE WRONG DIRECTION, I would hope that four of the members of the offensive squad would tackle their own teammate.

That quote is an excellent microcosm of his thoughts.

We’re too stupid to understand what is occurring unless it’s put into football terms.
They crap on us and think it’s witty.

And it's non sensical - I am so tired of these GOPe club members preaching to me about how things should be run, when they've failed for 30 years.
