Kremlin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov suggested Moscow could attack the Netherlands, a member of the NATO military alliance, with dual-purpose improved conventional munitions (DPICM), or cluster bombs.
Solovyov, one of the most well-known figures in Kremlin-backed media and an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, issued the warning alongside Andrey Gurulyov, a Russian parliament (State Duma) member and former military commander, during a segment on state television channel Russia-1.
Cluster bombs open in the air and release many smaller bomblets, or submunitions, over a wide area. The U.S. agreed to supply Ukraine with the weapons in July after months of debate. Kyiv had repeatedly requested DPICMs—banned in more than 120 countries, but not in the U.S., Russia or Ukraine—be sent for use by its forces in the war.
On Wednesday, Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to Ukraine's minister of internal affairs, shared a 44-second segment of the state TV broadcast on X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: "Attention, Netherlands! Russian propagandists threaten to attack Dutch oil refineries with cluster munitions."

“Hmmmmm... no comment”
LOL...but the timing is VERY SUSPECT, with the Neocons making their move on Ukraine in 2021, just after our cities light up in 2020...
In Ukraine. Big difference. Solovyov has made several insane like and provocative comments about attacking other NATO nations as a consequence of Russia's own failure at their 'special military operation' invasion of Ukraine. If he represents the mindset of russia, its disturbing.
latest batch of artillery shells arrive in Ukraine, minus the TNT
Well we have set a precedent. US cluster bombs are killing Russian soldiers right now.

meanwhile, Russian-made cluster rounds are killing Ukrainian troops and civilians
Great post.
good comment, thanks
LOL very funny comment
Thank you. BTW, how does it feel to be attached to two failed nations and two perverted presidents, one of whom plays a piano with his penis?
And he’s a Red Chinese troll, too.
you made one funny comment
that doesn’t change the fact that you support evil
lying won’t help you with that
A lot of leaders in the NATO club are invested heavily in the belief that if enough pressure is applied to Russia then the country, the economy, the military and society will collapse like a JENGA tower. Only one little problem — that strategy has failed; the opposite happened.
Instead of growing weaker and fracturing, Russia has grown stronger and less dependent on the United States and Europe. The economy is purring along. The Russian defense industry has ramped up to unprecedented levels in the modern Russia era. For example, Russia is churning out more than two million 152mm artillery rounds a year. The Russian army is filling recruitment quotas and turning out fully trained soldiers. Russia is producing surprising numbers of hypersonic missiles and drones, which have transformed the battlefield in Russia’s favor.
Compare that with the United States. The U.S. economy is not doing well. The US bankruptcy court, for example, reported a total of 15,724 bankruptcies in the fiscal year that ended 30 June 2023. This is a 23% increase over the prior year. How about the defense industry? Well, they are raking in bucket loads of cash but turning out very little. Ukraine is running low on 155 mm shells and the United States only is making 340,000 a year. That amount is insufficient to meet Ukraine’s daily requirement. Similar story on the recruitment front — the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines are falling short of their annual goals. And despite spending hundreds of billions of dollars on weapon systems, the United States still has not developed and deployed a hyper sonic missile.
The United States is facing multiple, self-inflicted disasters. The flood of illegal immigrants is drowning Democrat led cities, which once touted themselves as sanctuary cities for immigrants. New York’s Governor and the Mayor of New York City both are complaining heatedly about being overwhelmed with undocumented migrants. America’s major cities — New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and San Francisco are wracked with murders, theft and muggings.
So yeah, the United States is playing JENGA, but the tower that will topple is not Russia. It is America that is facing catastrophe. I wish I was engaged in hyperbole, but the social fabric of America is being shredded and the partisan divide is a growing, unbridgeable chasm.
Recent remarks by Speaker of Russia’s Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, and echoed byForeign Minister Lavrov and Defense Chief Shoigu, carries an ominous message for the West — Russia is not interested in a negotiated settlement with Ukraine. “Ukraine must surrender on Moscow’s terms or the country will “cease to exist.” These are not isolated, idle, off-the-cuff statements. Russia is sending a very clear message. Will American listen or continue to play Russian JENGA?
>> Have you bothered to look at the difference between Russian troops and these NATO “woke” troops. NATO could have 10 million troops, but most will run away at the sound of the first shot. <<
I’m sickened to see people on what used to be a patriotic website turn into a miserable hive of hate-America slanderers. Those ads represent what the military top brass are fishing for more of, not who has answered the call. Don’t pine for the old days too much; back then they shot enemy propagandists.
If you want to criticize the woke recruitment strategies, fine. Don’t slander our fighting men and women.
Kinda puts to the lie that Putin wants peace, or ever wanted it.
Thanks for posting that.
Oh boy. I guess you haven't seen what the left is doing to NATO. At any rate, it looks to me like a strong wind could take most of them down.
Do enough of them work?
