Stick a fork in West Point, they’re done… Wait until you see the new degree they’re offering…

Well, West Point had an good run, didn’t it? Once a beacon of prestige and elite training, this institution produced some of America’s most outstanding leaders. But times have changed. Today, West Point is just another woke joke, churning out young Marxists with contempt for the very nation they’re supposedly preparing to defend.

West Point has reached the point of no return, particularly after the exposure of their latest “woke” agenda. Believe it or not, but they’re now offering degrees in “Equity and Diversity.” And no, unfortunately, this isn’t a joke.

Here’s the information about the woke course from West Point’s own website:

Diversity & Inclusion Studies Minor Diversity and Inclusion Studies (DISM) is an interdisciplinary minor administered by the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership that consists of humanities and social science courses. America is a multicultural polity and demands knowledgeable and pragmatic thinkers who understand the range of human experiences. The Diversity and Inclusion Studies Minor (DISM) exposes cadets to varied perspectives & methodologies for understanding and studying the humanities. By carefully drawing from existing courses in multiple departments, the DISM complements and enhances the core curriculum, academic majors, and several West Point Centers and committees. The DISM helps fulfill the Superintendent’s and Dean’s vision for diversity and inclusion at West Point. Moreover, the DISM at West Point offers cadets a framework for critically and creatively thinking about the broader impact of diversity and inclusion at the individual, organizational, societal, and/or global levels. It also provides our cadets opportunities to pursue diversity and inclusion in intra-, multi- and inter-disciplinary ways.

5-Course Minor

Must take 2 of 3 PL377: Social Inequality EN352: Power and Difference SS392: The Politics of Race, Gender, and Sexuality

Must Take 1 of 4 HI391: World Religions HI461: Sex and Civilizations HI463: Race, Ethnicity, Nation HI398: Society & Culture in American History

What a travesty, and how embarrassing for West Point. The left has successfully transformed many of our nation’s college students into pint-sized Marxists, and now they’re seeking to steer our US military officers down the same ideological path.

Campus Reform:

U.S. Military Academy at West Point also offers a Diversity and Inclusion Studies minor, which requires classes in “Power and Difference” and “Social Inequality.”

In response to Campus Reform’s request for comment, West Point clarified that the program was started in 2018 in part to balance faculty and student interest with the “Superintendent’s Strategic Goal of leveraging diversity and fostering inclusion.”

Sadly, West Point’s so-called “clarification” is even worse. But we’ll give them one bit of credit–the left has a real knack for employing buzzwords, don’t they? Phrases like “leveraging diversity” and “fostering inclusion” might sound harmless enough, but in reality, it’s coded language for promoting Marxism, just like “Black Lives Matter.” So, it probably won’t surprise you when we remind you that West Point is being sued for bragging about discriminating against whites.

Western Journal:

On Tuesday, lawyers representing the Students for Fair Admissions sued West Point for alleged race and ethnicity discrimination in admissions decisions, according to Politico. SFFA is the anti-affirmative action group that tanked race-conscious admissions practices at Harvard in a Supreme Court decision.

But the decision that nixed racial admissions policies at Harvard and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill determined that because no military academy was party to the suit, the opinion did not include admissions issues at these schools “in light of the potentially distinct interests that military academies may present,” according to Politico.

SFFA didn’t agree with the justices’ logic and argued there is “no justification for using race-based admissions” and, since the practice is now illegal at non-military universities, West Point “is not exempt from the Constitution.”

SFFA contends that West Point is violating the Fifth Amendment with its skewed admission practices. The Fifth Amendment contains an equal-protection principle that binds the federal government.

Regrettably, the radical left has penetrated our sacred institutions—from our churches and educational systems to healthcare, the military, and even West Point. The uncomfortable reality is, this infiltration occurred right under our noses, and we didn’t do anything to try and stop them until it was too late.

"This guy, Spenser Rapone:"

Rapone sought an engineering degree. Look what they did to him. It's terrible.

I remember when the GOP had majorities and they did not stop anything. In fact, at one time the GOP controlled both Houses of Congress and the White House. The beloved Karl Rove, genius that he is, put a stop to all that. But I said that to say this: If I was you and wanted to go on living, I would not hold my breath waiting on a GOP majority to stop anything. I understand that you and others believe that the GOP is the Tom Cat's Kitten and the salvation of America. But the reality , the cold hard facts are is the GOP and Republican Party is subservient to the Democrat Party. And are happy to do that.

I am glad they have disassociated with General Robert E. Lee.

Otherwise, I’d have to go up there myself, fight my way in, and rescue his picture off the wall.

Just use the military-centric colleges as farm systems. The VMI’s, Texas A&M’s. A one year indoctrination could count as one year of service. Shit, after 4 years at VMI one could spend just the summer at the academy and get their commission in the fall.

For Miley to get into Princeton he had to be very smart. Grant was more successful and he had the bottle.

A 4 year engineering investment stint at an academy gets non-productive once a guy gets killed in battle.

The institution from which Dwight David Eisenhower and George S. Patton Graduated.

It’s a sad day,

Trump's opening. Close all academies.

The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in England has been grinding out British Army officers for about 230 years. Candidates don't need to have a college degree, though the majority of those accepted already do. The course at Sandhurst is 44 weeks long...that's it. When you successfully complete the course you are then commissioned.

To me this commissioning system is somewhat of a cross between OCS and ROTC, except your year at Sanhurst retains it's sense of being an elite military education tradition.

A more fundimental problem remains however, even while America continues to grind out an increasingly woke officer corps, the U.S. Army can't recruit enough new enlisted soldiers for all these officers to "lead."

Folks with a Diversity & Inclusion degree (and the like) don’t solve problems.

Yet they are in high demand from government, NGOs, nonprofits, and even Big Business.

Corporations need "diversity experts" for their HR divisions, so as to avoid job discrimination lawsuits.

Some corporations even go so far as to appoint a Chief Diversity Officer (CDO). I've seen that title for a while now.

Law firms retain Diversity Consultants as expert witnesses in job discrimination lawsuits.

Universities hire Diversity Consultants both in the hiring of professors and selection of students.

The list is endless. It's a valuable degree. And in our increasingly diverse and anti-white society, it's a degree with much growth potential.

I work for a guy who is a graduate of west point, played football and everything.
He is the most duplicitous weasel I have ever met.
He truly is one of those guys that if you shake his hand you better count your fingers.

Anecdotal I know, but he doesn’t leave a good impression.

A lot of good men are going to have to die in years to come to cover up the abandonment of the military as the ultimate meritocracy. The uniforms have become costumes and the few true Americans who are deluded into enlisting will be cannon fodder for maintaining the DOD social agendas. In my wife’s and my families eight men volunteered and served over three generations, but never again.

Another thing. Most of our military recruits come from the south and midwest. A discrepancy. Northerners seem to think service should be done by someone else. Still a draft is not the answer. Every congressional district gets awarded an academy appointment I’ve heard.

It's no longer "our" military in any sense. If this makes them less effective that's a good thing. Less effective at crushing freedom.

The old free USA I loved is gone for good.

I thought WP taught future military leaders history, science, engineering, math and military strategy. When did they become a liberal arts college?

“ A GOP majority can stop it.”

They could. But they wouldn’t. Ever.

The GOP is every bit as terminally corrupt as the Democrat Party. They’re just much, much lazier and weaker in the knees.
