NEW: After "accidentally" forgetting to add the proposed gag order in motion last week, Jack Smith filed it yesterday.

This is the furthest thing from a "narrow" order. It is another contempt trap not just for Trump but those around him including campaign spokesmen. Trump's only allowable response would be "no comment" or "I am not guilty."

That is why Trump won’t debate.

Trump should show up to the debate and say nothing in answer to every question except: "Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to answer that question because I am under a gag order by a political appointee for crimes I did not commit. If I answer, I will be held in contempt because our legal system is a disastrous mess."

He should say that 100 times during the debate. It will be more eloquent than actually answering any of the questions.

If the biased judge issues this order it gives Trump’s attorneys grounds to appeal this infringement of his constitutions rights up to the Supreme Court. This will delay Biden's kangaroo court. Delay and disrupt is good strategy when fighting a biased court and a contemptible ignoramus like Biden.

What you're missing is that none of President Trump's fellow primary candidates are covered by any gag orders. They are free to talk about the case all they want, especially on the debate stage.

Smith wants to set it up so that the Republicans bash Trump on the campaign trail, but if Trump steps over the line in responding he can haul him into court over violations of a gag order.

Basically, Smith want to manipulate the system so that Trump's Republican primary candidates do the dirty work for him.

How can you taint a jury for Trump? There’s literally no one in the US with an IQ over room temperature that doesn’t have an opinion on him.

There’s no possibility of seating an unbiased jury even without Mad Jack Smith and Rasta Judge Chutkan conspiring to trap him.

ALL charges should be dropped, Garland should be interrogated by the House as to his behind the scenes control of Smith’s “independent” counsel, and Smith himself can be charged on multiple fronts for abuse of power, perjury, witholding evidence, and collaboration with NARA on trying to fabricate charges.
