Comedian and actor Russell Brand has been accused of rape, sexual assaults and emotional abuse during a seven-year period at the height of his fame.
The allegations were made in a joint investigation by the Sunday Times, the Times and Channel 4's Dispatches.
Four women are alleging sexual assaults between 2006 and 2013.
Brand has denied the allegations and said his relationships have been "always consensual".

If these accusations end up proving false, they need to be punished.

Even if proved false the accuser gets feted on leftwing talk shows, maybe even gets a book deal, much less punished.
So as usual, it wasn’t important to report any of those so-called allegations at the time they allegedly occurred, but years later, once the guy decides to speak out publicly about what’s going on in the world, bring on the allegations. This crap is so predictable from the left.
He’s too charismatic while making perfect sense. Can’t have future Trumps running around willy-nilly.
The news report I read online about it made sure to put a picture of Gutfeld right next to his, as if Gutfeld was part of the story.
I doubt these allegations.
I have always wondered why several women all at the same time remember something that they claim happened a long time ago. At the “time” when it happened, they didn’t say a word.
Also, after they go public with their claims, they ALWAYS disappear quietly and rapidly, and there is no law suit, no arrest, and no further media coverage.
Remember Kavanaugh, Trump, Clinton and Thomas? Remember their accusers? Neither do I.
One did go to a rape center immediately. Not good. Remember, Russell is an admitted alcoholic/drug user along the lines of H Biden. I hope it’s not true. I’ve been listening to Russell for at least 3 years. I appreciate his recovery, but he likely has a few ugly skeletons.

That's not the point. It's the timing of the allegations. As usual, it wasn't a big deal when it happened years ago, if it happened. The only reason anyone would stay silent about such things at the time, is if they put their career ahead of it, and found a paycheck more attractive than the fact that, keeping silent meant others would probably be abused by that same person. That is the biggest problem I have with these women who years later, come forward and claim so and so abused them. They kept silent to keep a job, but never bothered to think that by remaining silent, other women would be suffering the same fate. No job is worth protecting a sexual abuser.
