Oooooooo!!! Please send some of your weather down here! It sounds fabulous! I imagine y’all spent time in the back yard relaxing while the pups put on their shows. LOL Perfect weather for it.
We had mid 80s yesterday and Friday but we’re back in the 90s - and muggy - for a few days. They SAY we’ll be back in the upper 80s by next weekend.
Sloooow day at the museum Friday but it was steady yesterday, and a lot of fun. My last tour was with a couple who were a blast. He’s a vet and he was like a kid in a candy store as we went through, he was so jazzed. “I shot one of those.” “I shot one of those too.” “I drove one of those.” He had several stories as we went through, several of them humorous. Just had a great time with him. His wife was a lot of fun too.
Kitteh time is every day. LOL They’ve been fairly quiet the past couple of days and that’s a welcome change. They were wound up when the moon was full.
Exhaustion with a smile on your face!
And Blue time tomorrow. Not bad.

Evening, Kathy! Happy End-of-Summer! (Although here in NY this week will be in the 90s)
Good evening, Mooch....the end-of-summer does seem to be closing in.
90 is much too hot. Stay cool!
It’s raining off and on here.
What a beautiful kitty! 😻
Howdy, luvie.
We had two Saturdays this weekend? :-)
Howdy, Allegra.
How are things with you these days? Are you as ready for summer to end as a lot of us are? LOL
Thanks! That’s my Peaches. Sorry the picture is crap. Not sure why it was such poor resolution. He was really chilling out there. :)
Hey there, radu!
I forgot to change the text. LOL! Although, a holiday Monday is sort of like a 2nd Saturday! So it’s not really ALL wrong!
Hope you are now rested from your weekend at the museum. I’m really tired tonight. Will probably head out early. Yeah, right. 🤣
LOL! I did a double-take when I read it.
EVERY day’s a holiday as far as Peaches is concerned. >^..^<
Pretty well rested up now since I didn’t do much today. Lazy day - - kinda like Peaches. LOL
Is your alarm still intact?
That is for sure. Peaches knows something about resting. We could all learn something from him.
The alarm is alive and well. I woke up before it went off, so now I’m really tired now. Do you have plans for tomorrow? We sure don’t.
thank you all. tough year for me. but God bless you all.
I have several like Peaches and still haven’t learned. LOL
At the moment, they’re ALL like Peaches. Kitteh bodies flaked out all over the house. LOL
Lucky for your alarm you woke up a little early. :-)
I have no plans for tomorrow. It’s supposed to be hotter than today was so I won’t mow. MAYBE Tuesday I can get the back yard done.
Bible in a Year:
When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us.
Fast-food restaurant worker Kevin Ford hadn’t missed a shift in twenty-seven years. After a video surfaced showing his humble gratitude for a modest gift he received to commemorate his decades of service, thousands of people rallied together to show kindness to him. “It’s like a dream, a dream come true,” he said when a fundraising effort brought in $250,000 in just over a week.
Jehoiachin, the exiled king of Judah, was also the recipient of extreme kindness. He’d been incarcerated for thirty-seven years before the benevolence of the Babylonian king resulted in his release. “[The king] freed him from prison. He spoke kindly to him and gave him a seat of honor higher than those of the other kings who were with him in Babylon” (Jeremiah 52:31–32). Jehoiachin was given a new position, new clothes, and a new residence. His new life was fully funded by the king.
This story pictures what happens spiritually when, out of no contributions from themselves or others, people who believe in Jesus’ death and resurrection are rescued from their estrangement from God. They’re brought from darkness and death into light and life; they’re brought into the family of God because of the extreme kindness of God. .
Reflect & Pray
What acts of human kindness have reminded you of God’s goodness? How do you respond to the kindness of God who welcomes you into His family based on what Jesus has done?
Father, thank You for Your forgiving kindness. “Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe; sin had left a crimson stain. He washed it white as snow.”
Are your cats coming down from their “full moon high” or something? Sometimes I’d love to be a cat and sleep 23 hours a day. LOL!
Nah...no mowing in that heat. The back yard can wait, right? At least you got most of it done.
I made the decision to cancel our trip to the lake yesterday. 100 degree temps are just not exercise friendly for pets and 59 year olds.
But, I did take a picture of me giving Giz a tummy rub that he seemed to enjoy.
Love me some tummy rubby!!!!!!😆
How's everyone doing this morning?
Yes, they’re down from their full-moon-high now. Most were wound up like two-dollar watches the other night. A few are just lazy ALL the time. LOL
The back yard looks awful now that everything else is mowed. But it WILL wait.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Good decision to stay home yesterday. Just too hot for man and beast, especially the way Gizmo likes to wander all over the place.
He seemed to enjoy his tummy rubby. LOL
Yeah, that sore back comes first. Maybe the heat will go away some day so you can go out at any time of day to get the mowing done.
I’ve never seen a September like this. Day after day of extreme heat. I hope I never see it again. I’m sure you’re over it too. We all are.
