Sarah Palin: Civil War Is ‘Going to Happen’ — ‘We’re Not Going to Keep Putting Up with This’
Breitbart ^ | 08/25/2023 | Pam Key

Posted on 08/25/2023 9:13:07 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) said Thursday on Newsmax TV’s “The Balance” that a civil war was “going to happen” over former President Donald Trump’s indictments.

Eric Bolling asked, “We’ve talked about the two tiered justice system but when you see it happening, when you see the former president being fingerprinted, having to show up turn himself in. You see the mug shots of the other seven or eight who turned themselves in already. Do you have concern for the country as I do?”

Palin said, “Yeah absolutely. I mean, I think those who are conducting this travesty and creating this two tier system of justice and I want to ask them, ‘What the heck do you want us to be in civil war?’ Because that’s what’s going to happen. We’re not going to keep putting up with this.”

Civil war would require either

(a) a significant faction of the military supporting a political leadership (presumably Trump and allies) or

(b) the emergence of a co-ordinated militia uprising with effective leadership or purpose

Otherwise what you likely get is something like the sporadic violence of Basque separatists trying over many years to detach their region from Spain.

I believe that President Trump waited day after day between November 7, 2020 and January 6, 2021 for a signal from the US military that they viewed the election as stolen, and never got that signal, realized around New Years that option (b) was the only possible way to prevent Biden from taking office, and sent out a coded signal that was not taken up except by a few disorganized people who went into the Capitol in a so-called insurrection.

If the two options did not happen in that transitional period, is there a greater chance of it in the future? Only if provocations are so severe that action becomes inevitable.

Are we at that stage? Probably not, because desire to act is co-opted by the hope that a political solution (Trump being elected next year) will avert the need for violence.

What will happen if another election appears stolen?

The chances of (a) or (b) begin to rise considerably. Spontaneous disorder not rising to those levels will almost certainly happen. A wise citizen will wait for clear signals of reasonable chance of success, no point in rushing out to clear peril for no measurable improvements in the situation.

I disagree due to the fact that they are overtly prodding conservatives. The want to bring America down. It is the last thing standing in their way.

That strategy will make it less difficult for patriots to annihilate the officers, being they’re not actually Americans.

This goes both ways.

Officers have homes, family, needs such as security, food and water. Same as our soldiers.

This brings asymmetrical warfare to the table, and we have millions of Americans who are quite capable of doing things that you simply don’t discuss in civilized company...

Trump and Palin: Both characters were their own worst enemies making it easy for the Deep State to Brand them.

As opposed to the milque-toast passive GOP hero Jebbie “Bend over and spread em with a smile” Jebbie?

How so?? If the democrats and their DC apparatchiks want to go after you, they will find a way. If necessary, they will make up total lies, and spread them through the controlled media. What should Trump or Palin have done differently?

“Anyone who rejects slavery remains free no matter what is imposed on them. If the soul is free, then the person is free.”

I have to wonder if the Jews were telling themselves that as they were being loaded onto the cattle cars headed for Treblinka. I guess as long as folks are able to identify as “free”... it’s all good, eh?

There will be no civil war. Biden has been mocking us at the same time he’s telling us we don’t need ‘assault weapons’ and high capacity magazines. The gov’t has the F16s, he says. And don’t doubt for a second that a gov’t run by these Democrats and RINO deep staters won’t act as one with the left and train their firepower on conservatives.

There will be no civil war. It will be uncivil massacre of those who long for the America that we grew up in, and incarceration for those who survive and don’t embrace the sickness that is being forced upon them.

The US Army is a pimple. A non factor. It is just to small to contain a rebellion of many states.

It would definitely change the ROE. However, if a civil war broke out, it won’t be like the previous one as the sides won’t be as identifiable.

I hope you know that 1776 was a civil war.
That war turned out pretty well -- at least for a few decades.

It wasn't. 1776 was a war of secession, the colonies weren't fighting to take over England. Just as the War between the States wasn't a civil war either: the South didn't fight for control of the country, they just wanted to be left alone.

California, as well as Oregon and Washington, if detached from the United States, would probably be absorbed by a Chinese-Mexican alliance. Southern California and the Central Valley would be absorbed into Mexico, with the rest falling under the CCP. The Russians would take Alaska and possibly northern and western Canada)

She says “we need to rise up and take this country back.” She says “we’re not going to keep up with this.”

Watch out, Sarah! The “we” is changing.
