You’re right!

We used to have these heat waves from time to time.

And some of us used to believe that 1998 was the hottest year EVER!!!

?????

Without climate change, the heat waves impacting the U.S.-Mexico region and Southern Europe this month would have been “virtually” impossible

True dat, but climate change occurs every day. Without climate change we wouldn't get rain, or sun, or snow or windy days. It's been happening for eons now. We also wouldn't get 4 seasons either.

Oh, and there's no virtually about it either. Weather change is inevitable. You can take that to the bank.

Have you forgotten the mean temperature in July used to be 52F before all this global warming? Oh wait I just made that up. See, I can do The Science too.

So this Attribution outfit takes surface temp data from 7 stations in northern Europe and correlates it it world-wide, human-caused global warming? LOL...got it. Thanks.

30 years ago SE Colorado was roasting under 117° f heat in JUNE. It was miserable being in a mobile home in the sun...
It was like that for ocer 3 weeks when temps dropped into the mid 90’s.

Why lie when the truth works better?

If not for climate change where I live would still have a glacier 2 miles high. Thank God for climate change. Also at one time we had 300 feet of ocean above here. Go figure

Exactly.

We can blame El Niño. This is a natural cycle of highs and lows. It’s currently high.

"It’s all due to a very strong El Nino."
And an active sun.

Remember the days when summers were cool and refreshing and we never had to worry about suntan lotion or getting dehydrated outside? Yeah, me neither.

They know their audience...an entire nation of science illiterates.
Hottest temps in North America were in the 1930’s.
Plus, temperature data from the historic past, even recent past are mostly in error.

And, you are correct...IT’S SUMMER!!
