During a discussion reacting to the Supreme Court’s ruling that affirmative action policies in college admissions violate the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment, Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears called out Associate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson for being a diversity hire.
The comment came during an interview on Fox News’s “The Story,” after host Martha MacCallum read viewers Jackson’s dissent.
“This is the dissent from Justice Jackson, she said, ‘With let them eat cake obliviousness today, the majority pulls the ripcord and announces color blindness for all by legal fiat. But deeming race irrelevant in law does not make it so in life,’ she said. She and Justice Sotomayor were outraged by this decision. Sotomayor said, ‘The opinion today will highlight the court’s own impetus in the face of America who cries for equality resound.’ What would you say to these justices?”
“Well, what you have is the justice who was chosen because she’s black and because she’s a woman,” Sears responded. “You know, that’s what we’re understanding now, what a woman is. And Martha, while we’re playing these stupid games, I’m saying that education and the lack of it in America is risen to a national crisis.

The ditz wouldn’t be on the Supreme Court if it hadn’t been for Affirmative Action. Therefore, she is probably one of the first unconstitutional SCOTUS justices.

Ketanji Brown Jackson can’t even define what a woman is, so obviously she is a dummy who got to where she is primarily because of her skin color. Having an African sounding first name helps too.
So I guess what the libs are saying is black kids aren’t smart enough to compete with other races on a level playing field?.......cuz that’s the way I’m hearin’ it. 😏
imagine if the last 20 yrs of affirmative action had been accompanied by a wholehearted effort to rebuild schools in disadvantaged areas. we would then have a new generation, full of information and ideas and the habit of learning to turn to when the training wheels of racial preferences fell away. instead those in control of public schooling drove the system into the ground - across the board - leaving us to contemplate declining test scores across the nation. yes, we do have a crisis - not just for the less fortunate, but everywhere. and no one is talking about it except Winsome Sears.
Of course she opposes ending affirmative action. Justice Jackson’s primary qualifications rested in her skin color and sex. She was the ultimate affirmative action hire.

She’s right, stop punishing the less fortunate who ae forced into failed public schools. Give them choice, that will help opportunity.
Although it wasn’t a court decision but rather a Presidential Proclamation, I wonder what their view is on the Emancipation Proclamation that freed men of all color in the US.

That is exactly what they are saying. They think black folks aren’t smart enough and need a hand up in life as a r3sult in order to succeed. Black folks should be highly offended by that mentality, but for some reason they aren’t for the most part.
Things like our medical proffessions have really suffered because of the diversity crap. No longer are doctors chosen asked on their level of skill, but ow they are chosen based on skin color.
I would much rather be operated on by a highly skilled black person than by an affirmative action surgeon who never would have made it had it not been for the lowering of skill requirements in order to fulfill a quota of black hires.
I would also much rather have a highly skilled black lawyer than an unskilled affirma5ive action hire lawyer who is skating by in a lucra4ive business because whitey had a quota to fill.
