MSNBC host Al Sharpton said Thursday on “José Díaz-Balart Reports” that the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action programs for college admissions was a “dagger in our backs.”
Sharpton said, “Well, I think that this is tantamount to sticking a dagger in our back because what they have said now is that it is unconstitutional to even consider race. And given the racial history of the country, let’s not act like blacks are behind because there’s something in our genes that made us behind. It was against the law for us to even read and write until 160 years ago. We were enslaved for 246 years. So it is to completely throw to the wind the history of why we needed affirmative action in the first place.”
He continued, “So now you have a right-wing Trump court, let’s not forget Trump nominated a third of the sitting court, nine members, three of which Trump put on there, that is saying well, we’ll protect the voting rights on Thursday, Friday and Monday and then we’re going to pull the rug from under you.”

Read the book “Bell Curve” IQ’s by race.
As I said, Sharpton is the supreme race-baiter.
I called his self-made enterprise for what it is more than 30 years ago - a race-baiting political ambulance chaser. He was alays “making a name for himself” and raising money, running out and calling EVERY police incident “racially motivated’ before any investigation and before easily obtained evidence was collected. That was his shtick, always and forever.
MSNBC race baiter Al Sharpton… there, NOW it reads properly.
Why don’t cowardly white liberals and their lackies of color come out and say what they really mean by their subtle bigotry of low expectations—that the average black child is too stupid to get admitted into college on their own merits and scholastic accomplishments?
They didn’t stab you in the back, NotSoSharpton. They stabbed you through the heart, diminishing your lifeline racist hustling racket.
Music to my ears!
“educational products”
Education is not something to be bought, it is something to be accomplished by hard work.
If the schools teach garbage, the students will wind up in an economic garbage can.
“It was against the law for us to even read and write until 160 years ago. We were enslaved for 246 years.”
MLK, Jr. managed to shine many decades ago.
160 years al...
8 generations seems like enough time to get your black asses together and work for it...
There are educational products for adults, such as for learning a foreign language. I’d buy an IQ raising course, if it would work, and I certainly work hard doing it. I fear that as I age my cognitive abilities will decline, so I have looked into some of the apps and websites that supposedly keep you sharp. There’s little evidence that they do, and any of the pills you see advertised don’t work either.
In this day and age backs don’t matter, brains and merit do.
Then there are those few who actually make money off of their race. Only a black race hustler can do that because there are no other kinds of race hustlers.
Sez the tax evader.
Agreed. I use “educational products” with my speech and language therapy students on a daily basis (and in a public school system…the horror!). There are a lot of really helpful, therapy-enhancing products out there!
Hey big Al, you say 160 years ago most blacks could not read or write so what is the excuse for now when the schools say most blacks don’t graduate and cannot read or write.
160 years have passed and a whole lot of opportunities have passed for black folks and where are they? Still stuck on that Democrat Plantation.
Now just who is to blame for that? It sure isn’t whitey.
I would be more than happy to stick it in your chest, face to face, if you give me a reason, you racist POS.
Get him a copy of "The Bell Curve".
If Al Notso is upset, it’s a good day for America.
How about putting more effort into actually EDUCATING black kids from K forward?
Sharpton & his army of hustlers keep telling black kids that “It is someone else’s fault that you cannot read or write or do math”.
ACTUALLY be in attendance-—NOT disrupting the class & trying to learn is called ‘Being an Uncle Tom”.
The kids are on the wrong thought track as early as 4 years old.
