There are educational products for adults, such as for learning a foreign language. I’d buy an IQ raising course, if it would work, and I certainly work hard doing it. I fear that as I age my cognitive abilities will decline, so I have looked into some of the apps and websites that supposedly keep you sharp. There’s little evidence that they do, and any of the pills you see advertised don’t work either.

Agreed. I use “educational products” with my speech and language therapy students on a daily basis (and in a public school system…the horror!). There are a lot of really helpful, therapy-enhancing products out there!
