Russia's Wagner militia forces are headed towards Moscow on Saturday after chief Yevgney Prigozhin initiated a military coup against Putin and his regime, which has seen the group take key cities and mock the President, who called them 'traitors'.
Putin addressed the Russian people on Saturday, warning that the military leader had 'stabbed him in the back', as Moscow is on lockdown as troops dig in in preparation to defend the city.

Darth Putin @DarthPutinKGB ·
Exactly 16 months ago, residents of Kiev were fortifying their city to prevent a Russian invasion.
Today, residents of Moscow are fortifying their city to also prevent a Russian invasion.
I remain a master strategist.

The oil depot in Voronezh was blown up by Russian helicopters according the videos posted online. Wagner has NO HELICOPTERS. It’s too far for Ukrainian helicopters. The Russian army is blowing up their own fuel depots to keep it out of the hands of Wagner.
This means the Russian high command is seriously afraid.

If I recall correctly, they had been moved into Russia proper to defend against cross-border incursions from Ukrainian backed Russian (revolutionaries?)

Love the photo of Prigozhin meeting with Yevkurov in Rostov. I’m sure the photo’s staged, and Yevkurov may not have had a choice in the matter, but this is certainly getting interesting.
If Yevkurov did so willingly, and Prigozhin garners support within Russia, wow...
He has supposedly already taken a few military facilities, so Wagner may grow stronger as time goes on.
Popcorn, please!

Is it smart for Ukraine to take advantage if there is, or to let events play out?
To: Flag_This
Supposedly they had withdrawn fron the line and were refitting in camps in Dontesk. They were in reserve awaiting reassignment.

Leaflets falling on Russians dug in in Ukraine. “Moscow is kaput”
There will be weak points along the Russian lines, if they have to help out PootyPoot.

the key to Wagner’s success is whether or not the Russian people will rise up with him or against him.
