Last week’s indictment of Donald Trump is the latest example of why liberals really should have read my book, “Resistance Is Futile.” Or Aesop’s fable “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.” Either one.
After years of making insane accusations against Trump, from Russian collusion to indicting him for misdemeanor record-keeping errors in his blackmail payments to a porn star, liberals finally have him dead to rights committing serious felonies. And no one believes them.
It’s your own fault, liberals.
Much to my surprise, the documents Trump had spirited away to Mar-a-Lago were not cheesy souvenirs appealing to his juvenile sensibility, like Shaquille O’Neal’s shoe or a picture with Kim Kardashian.
No, the documents he’d stuffed in Mar-a-Lago’s ballroom, bathroom and shower (among other highly secure locations) included information about our nuclear weapons programs, the defense capabilities of the U.S. and other countries, potential vulnerabilities of the United States and its allies to military attack, and plans for possible retaliation.
As Trump’s Attorney General Bill Barr said in an interview with “Fox News Sunday,” these were “among the most sensitive secrets the country has.”...
In another reminder that Trump defenders need to wait a beat before repeating his claims like trained seals, the government has Trump on audiotape boasting about how incredibly “secret” and “highly confidential” the documents are — as he showed them off to people at his Bedminster Club. “As president I could have declassified it,” he told the non-security-cleared person, “Now I can’t, you know, but this is still a secret.”
How many Republicans have sworn up and down that Trump had declassified all the papers he removed from the White House? Now he’s on tape admitting that that was a lie.

Not Patton. Michael Corleone.
She's wrong. Coulter had full blown TDS before it was cool and never looked back.
I believe Adam Schiff and all the reporting from “news” media as much as I believe Ann.
Ann has been spending too much time drinking wine with her cats.
You should read the JW case and not just repeat what someone else says. That is a completely wrong summary of that case. First, JW didn’t sue Clinton, they sued NARA.
Second, Clinton didn’t abscond with all manner of valuable previously classified intel. The lawsuit was over a set of audiotapes recorded by an author writing a book about Clinton. The author was allowed to record Clinton during his regular workday, and as a result, the tapes captured classified conversations with foreign leaders, etc. Clinton classified the tapes as personal records when he left the White House. JW requested NARA to reclassify the tapes as presidential records and to retrieve them from Clinton so they would be subject to FOIA requests. NARA declined to do so, and JW sued to try to force them to do so.
Third, the case was not adjudicated on the merits. It was dismissed because the court could not order NARA to do what JW requested. Nowhere in the opinion did it state that everything Clinton did was legal - it said that there was nothing in the statute that would allow the court or NARA to overturn the designation of the tapes as personal records.
True, but no president ever said he could have declassified document, but he didn’t while waving the alleged document. Bill Clinton did a lot of stupid things, but he eventually worked with his lawyers, instead of against them.
Frequent incoherence, horrific economy, extreme left policies are not crimes, so why are you even mentioning them? There are people who actually y support him for most of those reasons.
She's insane.
This tells you everything you need to know about the "classified document" hoax:
> Coulter had full blown TDS before it was cool <
Back in 2016, Coulter was the first person in the media to recognize the support Trump had with the average American. So Coulter predicted that Trump would win the GOP nomination. She was mocked, and laughed at (as seen in this video). But she was right.
Since then, Coulter seems to have gone off the rails. Pity.
Has she got another book coming out?
"..liberals really should have read my book, “Resistance Is Futile."
I started reading this and then remembered that I DGAF what she says about anything.
A reasonable statement, my good FRiend. Thanks.
Wisdom? Well, I would never say such as things as "I like people who weren't captured"...astonishing, as I knew wonderful folks whose close relatives are/were MIAs and can only imagine the pain from the careless statement, or more recently, re the Ukraine war... "I could solve that in 24 hours"... beyond false and merely unwise.
And knowledge? A few decades back, as an Airman then Sergeant in the USAF, I learned the care and safe-keeping of classified information. We all knew to take those quite seriously. Mister Trump's (alleged, I give the facts space to fully appear) attitude toward classified material is unbelievable, especially when he had the knowledge of the correct procedures.
I've said here that we have better alternatives than to nominate Mister Trump as the GOP candidate, however that I would support and vote for him if he did get the nod.
Now, he won't. He simply will not get the votes for the nom. Major and minor supporters will distance themselves from DJT, and I'm afraid that Trump won't take it with...wisdom.
She is wrong.
Trump isn’t fighting for himself, he’s fighting for the country. Understand that and it’ll make more sense to you. Fighting for himself , maybe say nothing, fighting for the country, flaunt thr fact that these are the rules and the government should have absolutely no power because he broke no laws. It’s always easier not to fight. Doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. This is why Trump is a legend and when he’s long gone he will be remembered for what he’s chosen to do at this stage of his life.
And I cannot believe how flippant these people have become about classified. Many of them know nothing about it, but some do and are still rationalizing.
Favorite canard: “President can classify and declassify anything he wants unilaterally at the wave of a hand”. Like it was ok he took it away from secure containment, and could by himself later declare it unclassified.
How does anyone know if it’s declassified etc unless someone else is there also to record that fact? Someone has to be handy to verify and record and spread the word.
Yes. She couldn’t think her way out of a paper back any
longer. She’s had it in for Trump for a long time. She’s
eager to assume he’s guilty each time something comes up.
In his recent defamation suit, he was deemed guilty for
having the courage to call her on her un-provable charges.
Think about that. She couldn’t prove her case. He was
deemed not guilty, but they charged him with defaming
her. Then what was she doing to him, claiming all the
time he had raped her?
At worst it should have been a push, but he was found
guilty of trying to ruin her character.
It doesn’t get much more absurd than this, but then Ann
has to mention it in her hit piece.
Ann, just go away...
Oh great, so a stupid careless president can just take class. Stuff away from secure containment and it’s automatically declassified?
Do you understand what you’re saying? He could take tons of ship and airplane plans out of the WHand suddenly, they’re all unimportant?
And how is anyone else to know what was declassified if no one else knows what went out?
Ridiculous, flippant, cavalier.
Of course she’s wrong. (She’s not called “Ann Counter” for nothing!)
Did he actually say he never declassified it though? He said as President he could have. Maybe he did. And if he did, it doesn't matter what he says about it now.
Yes, she’s wrong. Every word coming out of the government’s mouth is a lie. At this point I do not give a d@mn what Trump has done. Nothing compares to what this rotten bunch of crooks has done.
